Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

PAF doesn't have a dedicated CAS aircraft ever since the A5C was retired, nowdays CAS is almost always done by Cobras and Fennecs with gun and rocket pods.
do our strategies require them , i would assume so .
i would assume when you spend so much money in AF , and that it is capable of gaining air superiority ,you should have dedicated CAS to take advantage .
maybe drones can fill this role ??

Not really, in the modern age there is no need for a CAS aircraft, any multirole aircraft can do CAS, in the Gulf War the Americans discovered F-111s with laser guided bombs were more effective at CAS then the A-10.

As for drones they are limited by how many ordnance they can carry not to mention their munitions are more expensive then rocket pods and guns or even LGBs

Seems like they want more

Pakistan needs to release a lot more ground footage up close. It's lacking in that department compared to airstrikes, and I don't mean grainy footage of posts but up close of dead Taliban soldiers.
Just beacuse the taliban are animals we should not fall to bottom with them. We have to remain digninfied.

I do agree that a lot of videos of our troops gallantly hoisting the subz hilali purchem on afghan posts should be shown on tv and we should instead highlight the gallantry of our brave soldiers.

not saying we should be mutilating their bodies but least we can do is capture and behead the kharijis that mutilated our men ( last i checked beheading was allowed in islam )
I understand and appreciate your frustration brother. We are Muslims and we will not behead the heads of captured soldiers. Muslims in battle are fearless but equally just in the handling of those who surrender.

Allah forgive us all.

There is dignity in taking revenge. Depends on the situation, you do not allow people to continously disrespect you.

There is no respect in mutualizing or beheading an enemy that has surrendered. We have to show our enemies that we are a Muslim army that respects Islam on and off the field of battle.
Respecting our enemies when they surrender is part of Islam. Remember they will go home and tell the story of our good behavior with those who surrendered. This will raise our profile with the ordinary Afghan who are not our enemies.

Allah knows best.

There is something in Islam called Qisās.

Are we still doing the "ordinary Afghan is good" gimmick? The ordinary Afghan is a warmongering extremist and there is no goodwill to be had, only a fool believes that. No offence.

This is deviating from the main topic and I will stop. I am happy to discuss this further in the Islamic thread if you wish.

How delusional are you?

you think afghans who say theyd stand with dajjal against pak if it happened will go home and say they gave me good chai and kisses? Are you 11 years old/

yes mutualizing is forbidden by prophet but not beheading

lmao , showing respect to an enemy that doesnt care about you and your people
Brother showing mercy to your enemies is what the prophet showed us , remember Fatah -e- Mecca .

Happy to discuss this further in the Islamic thread
