Well I do think at the end of the war, Iran should get arabs to cover 100% of reconstruction costs in exchange for ending attacks. Iran will never get a cent of reparations from the US, best it can hopefully get is sanctions removal.

Trump is a opportunist, he knows jack about the foreign policy, which is mostly run by Israeli's anyway, his past statements were against endless wars in middle east, yes in Trumps cabinet there are Neo-con and Evangelical Christians who are motivated with end times prophecies and return of the Texas Jesus when Jews took over the whole of Israel, and build the third temple... and Iran seems to be the next in line for a long time, in fact Iran's invasion clock start ticking once Syria fell. I would advise people to take a grain of salt with these reports incriminating Saudi Arabia in the run up to the war against Iran and also during the war. NYT is a Zionist mouthpiece and Washington Post is a deep state-run outlet. These reports could be designed to create a rift between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

We need to understand that both Israel and the America's deep state want PGCC actively join the war against Iran - that way, the military pressure that Iran is heavily putting on Israel can be alleviated. In other words, they want the war to become one that is between Iran and the PGCC.

Let us remember it was NYT and Washington Post that engineered the WMD hoax against Iraq before it was invaded in 2003. It is the same people now pointing the finger at MBS. This is a war engineered by Benjamin Netanyahu and his Zionist supporters in America's deep state. Any effort to pin the blame on anyone else should be rejected.

That being said, one country whose leaders consistently supported the efforts that led to the war from the PGCC side was UAE. Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman consistently opposed this war and advised Trump from taking such a dangerous action.

I don't understand your criticism. These two events are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Regime change will have the direct effect of weakening/neutering Iran. Similarly, as has been stated before on this thread, USA doesn't itself really need the oil and gas coming through Hormuz, nor does USA need Iranian oil. USA has most probably secured its own energy needs in Caracas recently. However, harming Iranian oil terminals and reopening Hormuz will harm Iran, which is USA's objective, at the behest of her Israeli masters. Trump more or less admitted all of this today on the audio recording from his latest Air Force One interview.
