Really not sure about how credible these claims are. Even if such a complex and bizarre weapon existed, why on earth would an Israeli airport manager blow opsec out of the water to yap about it?
head of ben gurion airport claims iran used a new type of ballistic missile today that destroyed several aircraft there,
a missile similar to Khorramshahr 4 with a cluster warhead but instead of "Cluster shells" the warhead released several Cruise missiles that precisely did hit different targets
Don't get me wrong, I understand that deception is part of war...but...even deception needs to be within the realms of plausibility.
Iran is doing amazingly well. It still needs to stick to doing the basic things well. Some of these claims seem like jiggery pokery and will be laughed at by their enemies, rather than actually scaring them.
I am reminded of the Battle of Yarmouk, where Ibn Walid deceived the Romans through highly mobile re-positioning around the edges of the battlefield of certain flag bearing units, in order to create the illusion of having more reserves than he actually had.
Simple deceptions work best.
