US Political News and Trump’s China visit

Well, you are talking about a country with more than 55% of people who are eligible to vote didn't bother to, mostly because any which way is shit, we had been voting for the lesser of 2 evil for quite some time now, and this is the bottom line.

Democrats have less impact, but the same story, just different people in charge. There is a phase that captures this situation pretty well: "The only thing that changes is the people who bitch about politics."
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

The actual paper itself, rather than the Guardian article:
Interestingly, Larry Johnson has been sounding the horn on these kinds of upstream logistical issues for a while now. Too often the problem of 'rare earths', as the Orange Turd likes to put it, is boiled down to statements like 'just mine/make more bro'. Doesn't really work that way, unfortunately, the paper does detail some of the issues with that. Also kind of why I laugh when people post articles about top-down orders or mandates to multiply production of xyz. The paper does say more or less as much towards the end.

Good luck, Kathy. You're going to need it:

Just recently, Mamdani announced his proposal for a new estate tax for NYC. The tax would be 50%. Understand that the feds already takes 40%, the state, takes 10%, and now he wants 50%?

Who in their right mind with any kind of a sizeable estate would want to live in NYC?

Will be more than happy to open a DM with you to discuss Comey and James. May help to clear some questions you seem to have.
