Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It should be done now, not left until the last moment. Iran should completely destroy their oil facilities (their main source of income) and desalination plants now, not later.
Hitting desalination plants hurts ordinary people.

No evidence was presented for the claim that Iran hit a Bahrani desalination plant on 8 March 2026. It had to be Bahrain, with the general sentiment of Bahraini people toward Iran.

Iran's Qeshm Island desalination plant was hit on 7 March 2026.

Why are Arabs like this? They have so many people, they are oil rich, they have influence. Why are they so pathetic? Its like the whole purpose of their existence is to serve Israel and the US interest. I do not understand it. Even the Eastern European countries are not that blind and pathetic...
That's what Monarchy look like. The kings care more about themselves more than their people.

Iran should comprehensively strengthen its Shiite militias in Iraq, aiming for a long term war and transforming them into a second Hezbollah.
It can no longer afford to pander to the Iraqi government, which is subservient to the Ebstein coalition. It goes without saying how reassuring it would be to have a force like Hezbollah, which can directly supply and cooperate with neighboring countries.
Regardless of what the West says, Iran should no longer compromise on building an alliance.
It should construct a state within a state controlling southern Iraq, maintain its presence there with unwavering determination for 50 years, and use it as a forward base to prepare for attacks from Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Iranian strikes on military bases used by the US in the Middle East caused about $800m (£600m) in damage in the first two weeks of the war, a new analysis shows.

Much of the damage was caused in initial retaliatory strikes by Iran in the week after the US and Israel launched the war, according to a report by the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and an analysis by the BBC.

The full extent of the damage caused by Iranian strikes on US assets in the region is not clear.

But the $800m in estimated damages to US military infrastructure - a figure that's higher than has been previously reported - offers a picture of the steep costs to the US as the conflict drags on.

A US F-35 made an emergency landing after a combat mission over Iran

I think people are overestimating irans capabilities of holding the strait of hormuz millitarily. If the US really wanted they can run the Strait with a SAG of 6-8 destroyers covered by aircraft and be relatively safe doing so. Even if iran was to lets say total current launch rate of 30 anti ship ballistic missiles and 30 cruise missiles and 100 drones 6-8 arleigh burkes with linked aegis and fighter cover have a relatively good chance getting in unscathed with. Possible MEU and LHD in tow. The problem is sustained fire rate. They cant stay around the strait for more than a couple days before they get overwhelmed and thus they inherently cant keep the strait open for merchant shipping if thats the case. And after they are in the persian gulf is also a very hostile environment with usvs and missiles constantly about.
More accurate is Couple of hours before being sunk. Iran probably has thousands of ASM of various types they even converted old AD missiles into anti ship ones, drones excluded.
Your scenario is more suitable for PC game.

The AN/TPY-2 radar system costs approximately $485m according to a CSIS review of defence department budget documents. The air-defence systems are used for the long-range interception of ballistic missiles.

Strikes by Iran caused an additional $310m in estimated damages to buildings, facilities and other infrastructure on US bases and military bases used by American forces in the region.

Sorry but the 800m USD price tag is ridiculously underrated. The actual damage is in the billions. It's pretty much a widely accepted fact.

This is a great strategy.
Instead of Trump saying to Japan “send me troops to help open the Strait”

Japan says “Why? We don’t need to”
The layers of respect and power amalgamated by the US over the decades removed within a few minutes by Trump in his press conference with Japan. We saw the look in her face of shock.
Begging the whole world for assistance to make it a global effort - yet only having rejection and shying away.
Indeed Trumps America has become a pathetic figure and you know it.
