Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

Has Iran been able to target US/Israel AF's or Naval assets? Unless Iran is able to destroy these assets, on the ground, it will not be able to stop attacks. Why is Iran not targetting Israeli bases and annihilating its ability to land Jets there?

No one knows the damage inflicted on Israeli bases, no info coming out

Because it can't.

This would result in hundreds of thousands if not millions of casualties. Millions of Pakistanis in GCC will be at risk.
Such an attack by Iran will almost certainly force Saudi Arabia to invoke its defence pact with Pakistan.
Trump has shown he’s psycho and could act on his threats he made to Iran.

I think Pakistan should prepare for the worst. A possible 4 front war. Afghanistan-Iran-India-Internal.

If Trump goes ahead with his plan to target Iranian power plants, Pakistan should immediately launch decapitation strikes on Afghan Taliban and arrest potential Iran or Taliban aligned threats in Pakistan. I hope Pakistan has some sort of proxies in India’s East. To prevent India from attacking Pakistan, if Pakistan has to protect Saudi, Pakistan should support proxies to do massive attacks in India’s East or even cause a Bangladesh vs India skirmish/war.

Coming to aid of Saudi Arabia and honoring your commitment is siding with US and israel?
Some people feel, you're either with Iran (as cannon fodder) or you're against Iran.

As if Iran is somehow the good.

... Sadly the only two countries that lodged missiles at Pakistan are india and iran. ...
Three. Don't forget once upon a time Afghanistan's ballistic missile capability.

Asian markets have always been volatile. @PakFactor got any horsetrading tips? Quick pick and flip shares? 🤣

In Asian markets, focus on these: Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui & Co., Sumitomo Corporation, Itochu Corporation, and Marubeni Corporation.

American side: Berkshire Hathaway (Class B Shares). [You're not buying for the company itself, but a share in his cash equivalent, when Greg Abel makes his move with the cash hoard they have amounting to $380 billion.]

In futures: $105-$110 trade (very volatile).

Keep approximately 40% in cash equivalent, such as USD treasury bonds or an interest-bearing account.

This is something that I am confused about myself too.

They insist on attacking US facilities in the GCC (whether they're used or not) but don't seem to want to take out the Israel Air Force out despite possessing the long range ballistic missile capability to do so. 🤔

@PakFactor did you get any signals from UAE? Scuttlebutt re: Qatar+UAE are troubling.

It's a possibility they will join; the economic impact of the straits closure is growing, and, secondly, it's starting to affect their real estate sector, according to one contact I spoke with in the UAE. He said it's coming down to a question of the UAE's credibility.

Im hearing same noise for Qatari contacts. Qatar economy is crippled as a result of all this.

Indeed. Excluding the passage impact, that one strike Iran carried out several days back knocked out approximately 25% of its LNG production; the estimated time to bring it back online is five-to-six years, if no further damage is sustained.

Now, the question is whether Trump is bluffing or if that moron would take action and force Iran's hand. Knowing him, he will force hands, and that's how I'm positioned at the moment.

More so, the urgent news is that the State Dept. is asking Americans to return home, not just the Middle East, but elsewhere. They fear Americans could be targeted due to backlash. But I see it as an escalatory warning.

Considering Israel is launching hundreds of airstrikes on Iran daily, it's safe to assume the bases are very much functional.

Cannot make assumptions like this with certainty, some could have received heavy damage and remain functional, Israel plays the PR game very well....

I would also add, seeing NATO Secretary having a change of opinion, the GCC could take action under the NATO flag.
Yes Rutte saw his own backside when questioned on the capability of the European Ballistic Missile sheild known as Operation Atlantic Sentry.

I hate it that Israel is still able to put so many Jets to the sky and continues to pound Iran. This one sided war, almost, especially when Iran is not able to hit US mainland is so unfortunate.

I wonder how long it would take Iran to be able to produce ICBMs, especially with access to AI and knowledge which can be acquired from Russia, China or even North Korea.
