I was just joking bro. My entire family (even the extended one) has already moved to Australia. I am just passing my time here. Wanted to set up a business, but this war has pushed me back.

Although the information about investments value going down significantly is not true. The property market is still booming. Last week, there was an off plan announced in Abu Dhabi, it was sold within a couple of hours. I keep looking at the property websites too, the property value is still intact. Maybe due to strict censorship or whatever. I am still getting calls to get loans and credit cards. Same can't be said for future though.

I friend of mine called a couple of agents, asked them to give him options with 25% reduced value compared to price one month back, both said there were no such properties. People are looking for distress sales because they think that as soon as the war stops, the market will gain back what has been lost.

Do remember, in the past, the Emirate injected liquidity to keep the market stable. I wouldn't put it past the sheikhs to deploy their sovereign wealth funds (ADIA, Mubadala, QIA, PIF) to purchase assets, to artificially stabilize the pricing of real estate assets.
