I think Qatar is one of the least likely countries to participate in this war. Saudi Arabia and the Emirates are highly likely to enter the war for purely different reasons and they're probably weighing this as we speak.
1. Saudi Arabia is likely to enter the war because their role as a regional power has been completely undermined and crushed here. They have been humiliated time and time again by the IRGC in the last 3 weeks. They're losing face and credibility and they're no longer seen as a rival for Iran, and not even as the daddy of the Arab sheikhdoms in the region. Also, they have a large air force and important security pacts to back them up.
2. The Emirates has their eyes set on our 3 islands in the Persian Gulf (Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa). They are not going to make a move unless the US decides to launch a ground invasion of Iran, particularly targeting our islands.
The US dollar has a huge bubble but as long as Petrodollar is in place and the US absolutely dominates the energy and technology markets, it is unlikely to burst soon.
There are no reformists in the Sheikhdoms in our region. They are first and foremost US assets. Anything else they do should be purely seen through the lens of economics, rather than long-term strategic thinking.
Didn’t Chinese announce a $400B investment in Iran a few years ago?Chinese were reluctant to sell fighter aircraft to Iran as it would jeopardize their commercial relationship with the GCC. Iran could have overcome that obstacle with enough attention and relationship building with China but did not do so.
some are able to connect to certain VPN's, and I think buying private ip's are workingI was in Iran and my youngest uncle passed away on the first day of war after they shut down the internet. It was such an unexpected news.
I didn't have access to the internet. I'm surprised that some Iranian members here have been able to get online. The whole nation is in a digital blackout in Iran. I have left Iran at the moment, after staying for Nowruz. I might be less active for a while but I'll try to visit PDF more often.
They are too tamed to be change.Theory:
America could do a regime change in UAE instead of Iran.
Think about it:
If the UAE is unable to defend itself and is open for the taking like Venezuela and Greenland.
1. Dubai model has failed
2. It can become an American colony
3. Direct Middle East base
4. Israeli base
5. Expel all the locals who are a very small population unable to fight
6. Give Hindus residence with living standards better than India
7. Already built out infrastructure
Now Americans will control the Strait of Hormuz
But how can a VPN work in this case? As far as I understand, no system in Iran has access to the internet. So, to tunnel your traffic through a VPN, first you need to establish a connection with that system, which is impossible, no?some are able to connect to certain VPN's, and I think buying private ip's are working
