Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Pardon the naivete. But haven't they actually devastated Mehrabad beyond recognition ? mostly cratered runways and all planes destroyed ? from the looks of it (from VahidOnline footage of several rounds of strikes) it seemed horrifyingly destructive... I have no one in Iran around to ask, no source whatsoever so I can only guess ... thanks
Not really. They haven't even scratched it.
They hit Mehrabad Airport even worse in the 12-day war and it took only 2 weeks for local flights to be back. Airports are not destroyed that easily. They're good for propaganda because jet fuel burns well, but it's just the visuals.

Vahid Online is a Zionist mouthpiece. It is even less credible than Iran International.

I have first-hand information, even have seen photos, of a small airport in the south that has been hit multiple times only to destroy a radar. Like 4-5 hits on different days just to destroy a radar successfully.

Hezbollah rockets on Tel Aviv ?

Peter Schiff is right.
Many analysts are already saying Iran has the upper hand. And this is before Iranian ground military is even sent to places outside of Iran. I don't see short of Dresden style carpet bombing or Hiroshima/Nagasaki repeat, Iranians are going to capitulate.

Don't need to crater runways to take an airport out. That's actually probably one of the worst ways to take an airport out of commission, since unless you keep putting bombs down onto the runways, patching them up is comically simple. Destroying radars, terminals, fueling facilities is much more impactful.

I know nothing about this new guy. I'm not even sure if he's alive or conscious. There are rumors that his GCS is 5 or so. Nobody has seen him even on TV after he was elected.

All I can hope for is that he is not like his father. There is nothing else that I can do. Iran is cooked without nukes. Even if we win this round, they will have another go sooner or later until Iran cracks.

Repeated attacks from the U.S are unlikely

Iran has the upper hand with the ability to close down the Hormuz and the consequences have been so severe that the U.S is unlikely to try something so stupid again

It all depends on how Iran can replenish its missile and drone stocks, if it's able to rebuild which it hopefully is, then Iran will have created enough deterrence

Israel will be the bigger problem, as Israel once it's interceptor stocks are replenished may feel it's able to launch the odd attack to hit vital targets, especially if it feels Irans ability to build missiles has been curtailed

This is why Iran cannot give up or give in now when regardless of the cost it has the upper hand, it can force in negotiations removal of sanctions, removal of all U.S bases in the region, no limitations on its missiles or allies and hopefully forced removal of Israel from Lebanon

Ground/amphibious assault is almost certain. USA needs non-American cannon fodder to avert too many American body bags causing a PR disaster back home.

The hints are certainly that UAE might be the ones stupid enough to take that deal, rather than other GCC nations. I can't, for the time being, envisage NATO countries outside of USA actually putting boots on the ground in Iran.

Honestly though, if any GCC nation joins in, it would be suicidal for that nation.

Amphibious Normandy landing assaults against modern FPV drones good luck with that . Americans will not be ready for FPV drone footage of their own guys being mercilessly targeted, over and over again. It's gonna suck being the first wave of occupiers. To all reports. Iranians have prepared well. Kharg island is Irans kill box.

Repeated attacks from the U.S are unlikely
I absolutely disagree with this. If Iran cannot establish deterrence either through a good deal for Iran or nuclear weapons, repeated attacks are 100% guaranteed. They will not leave Iran alone until they get what they want by force or Iran goes nuclear.

For now, yes. Iran should not overplay the strait card though. The Strait of Hormuz is a temporary solution. And there have been no severe consequences. Only temporary increase in oil prices. The US and the West haven't even bothered to empty their strategic oil reserves yet.

It all depends on how Iran can replenish its missile and drone stocks, if it's able to rebuild which it hopefully is, then Iran will have created enough deterrence
Iran cannot outpace the collective industrial capacity of the Western world. That's delusional.

Israel will be the bigger problem, as Israel once it's interceptor stocks are replenished may feel it's able to launch the odd attack to hit vital targets, especially if it feels Irans ability to build missiles has been curtailed
They're bombing Iran like World War II. This is not something that Iran can survive if it becomes a regular thing. This case must be closed this time or next time will be too late.

This is why Iran cannot give up or give in now when regardless of the cost it has the upper hand, it can force in negotiations removal of sanctions, removal of all U.S bases in the region, no limitations on its missiles or allies and hopefully forced removal of Israel from Lebanon
Iran must reach a closure this time. It is a must, not a choice. Either Iran has to capitulate or win this war. There's no middle ground.

These scenes maybe in Iran soon
