EDITORIAL: Over the next few days, the joint US-Israeli aggression against Iran can go either of two ways: nascent attempts at a ceasefire, in which Pakistan is playing a major role, succeed and lead to a long-term settlement. Or, if ominous reports that the US president is buying time to move in more troops and invade Iranian territory are to be believed, the war gets much worse.

In both scenarios, the Trump administration holds the key: it can either choose a sobering climbdown leading to peace, or continue the doomed march towards an even larger war. There is a very slim window for diplomacy, and if this chance is lost, it is unclear when the next may come.

The US has reportedly sent ceasefire demands to Iran via Pakistan, while Turkiye is also engaging in shuttle diplomacy. Iranian officials are said to have termed US demands “unreasonable”.

Pakistan and other regional states realise that if this conflict spirals further out of control, it will create a maelstrom that will consume the entire region, while dealing a huge blow to the global economy. All rational states wish to avoid such a dystopian scenario, except the US and Israel.

The fact is that even close American allies are now voicing their disapproval at the aggression. For example, the German president has termed the war a “breach of international law”.

If Tangsiri's death is confirmed, he could be replaced by Ali Fadavi, who was deputy commander of the IRGC Navy for 13 years and commander of the IRGC Navy for 8 years (21 years total)

Looks like bad psyops ... launching 'accidental' videos that attack is gonna be launched .. to scare Iran into negotiations.

These videos wreak of childish styled Trump threats. The stupidity of this video being "posted accidentally" just portrays that its the US that is trying desperately to somehow get Iran to back out.

sad state of affairs. If only Iran's or neighbour's radars can at least warn them that planes are coming to Tehran. At least, it will be a fair fight.
If peace is important, we should make sure that the Iranian leadership remain safe.

Seems like iranians are now struggling to launch enough attacks at isreal. Not good. Iran is very close to depleting enemies interceptors and must keeo on the pressure and use hezbollah to target them as well. back to back close calls with f-35s and f-18 will make us air power more cautious though

Fires at Kuwait Airport have been going on for 3 days now, due to unrelenting and constant attacks.

Looks like Iran's biggest focus right now, is to stop any kind of attacks on Kharg island ...

Germans are hypocrites - they host the largest contingent of US air power in US-EUCOM - this is just degrees of separation and lip service. If they were truly against the conflict they would not be hosting huge swathes of USEUCOM on their lands.

Sometimes you need to change cadence and regroup. Fire patterns can be estimated to improve interception rates and survivability, also makes the launchers vulnerable.

This is a very dangerous Mine it is launched by air using a special ordinance delivery system known as the Gator Mine System CBU-89 and it can deploy two types of mines 91 and 92B

The ones in the photos from Iran look like a 91/B which is a devastating Anti Personnel mine: They are designed to self-destruct after some time - so telling civilians to NOT approach them is Super Super Important!

On a related note, Aljazeera seem to be fuming at Pakistan playing any major role in this all. They seem to have strong discomfort on their faces whenever they mention Pakistan playing any role. Or they try their best to downplay anything from Pakistan.

At the same time, they also seem to go into depression mode whenever any missile lands in israel and they start commenting on it as a stand-alone human tragedy brought on by Iran.

Aljazeera is becoming poison to all sides, due to the moral superiority complex that they have placed upon themselves. They have gone so deep into it that they now see themselves as the moral police of every issue.
