Why Iran created “missile cities”, but didn’t create underground command and control cities, is baffling. Berlin in WW2 had tunnels everywhere in the city to avoid traveling above ground.

It is one thing if they die alone (ie Larijani) the impact is less significant, but these types of events that take out the officers who have to attend the meeting are debilitating.

I think it was you or someone else who said it’s natural selection at this point. Old officers who can't adapt to the modern battlefield will get martyred and those that can will survive. Some of these older officers are behaving like they're fighting Iraq again rather than a superpower adversary.

Yes I said that. But again that relates to them be silo’d, then Darwinism takes hold. When they force younger officers and commanders to also attend, then they are taking parts of the future regional chain of command with them.

If it’s just a small group of 60-75 year old regional commanders meeting then that’s less of a problem.

They possibly had no electronic signature like phones or similar and thought that it would be a safe place. That leaves agents inside giving away the position of the meeting. Maybe they allowerd one or two times for the low level meetings to take place in that building that gave confidence to attenders and later on did the attack once primary targets are in place.

Pre-assumption should be the meeting place is known by the enemy. Tunnels are a good solution. For example tunnels can be dug out from the large building outside on 3 or 4 directions opening to meeting rooms. They will only see that people entered the large building but underneath they can go to 4 different tunnels opening to random rooms in different directions for the meeting. The attenders with no electronics on them would not know the exact position of the tunnels so even agents exist within them they cannot inform the enemy about the exact location of the place. The meeting would take place randomly in one of those underground rooms further away from the main building. Builders of the tunnels would know the bunkers but it is harder to put agents there. Also it should be make sure that noone carries electronics like gps trx on their body. Electromagnetic shielding would be good for these rooms if possible.

Seems like iranians are now struggling to launch enough attacks at isreal. Not good. Iran is very close to depleting enemies interceptors and must keeo on the pressure and use hezbollah to target them as well. back to back close calls with f-35s and f-18 will make us air power more cautious though

Even Israeli media admitted that Iran fired 110 missiles (projectiles) in the last 24 hours. This was morning news. Also Hezbollah fired 600 missiles and drones in the last 24 hours. Today the count of Tanks hit reached 24.

GCC countries are getting hit too.
