It is extremely stupid to occupy a small island like Kharg that drones and missiles & artillery from Iran can easily reach there. The landing sites bc of this will not be secured by the US . threat will be coming hundreds of miles away from the mainland . And seizing Chabahar port is a suicide mission just like the first one .

There are suggestions now that Kharg and Abu Musa islands may be a feint and what the US really plans is seizure of Bushehr and other nuke sites.

To me that sounds even more insane than idea of seizing Iranian islands as leverage but what part of this war has made sense uptil now ?

nope the proximity fuse was delayed and triggered after it passed the aircraft tail. In this video I see the smoke trail of the missile. In the earlier video the smoke trail wasn't visible. Also I don't understand why the missile is glowing white hot?

You are so right Kharg Island might be a distraction from the real target. I really do hope Russia and Chinese have been able to gather intelligence on Americas true plans and forwarded it to Tehran.

The fact that they don’t already have ground troops in place before they started bombing makes me think that they didn’t think this thing all the way through..we’re they really expecting to air strike Iran in to submission.
