IRI is a hardcore Islamist revolutionary system that tried to rule a secular minded urban and educated society with iron grip. This created lots and lots of disgruntled Iranians inside and outside Iran and as individuals Iranians are extremely stubborn and egomaniac people. A dangerous combination that resulted into hordes of traitors. When Israelis pull an assassination, make no mistake its always perpetrated with massive help from inside or outside Iran using Iranians themselves.

I thought literacy was low especially among women before the revolution.

My anecdotal experience of Iranians I have met in the west is its an arrogance. I also note in some way its similar to Italians. Both Iran and Italy have had heady days of empires and maybe this leads to such confidence

Those Iranians in the west that call themselves Iranians and ape the west often are second or now third generation have little about Iran in them

By joining consortium without Iran's confidence, Pakistan will loose neutral mediator role, and will severely damage de-escalation efforts. How will they tackle Saudi - Turkey disputes ? If it's Saudi Led consortium then where is Iran? Is it strategically correct to giveup a valuable mediator role and join a proavtive security consortium as a Frontline state?

What you're saying is a "VICTORY NARRATIVE," since they lost the war they need a new lie:

- 60%, 30%, or 1% enriched uranium is not suitable for making atomic bombs (this is basic science!). Obtaining any type of uranium doesn't indicate anything.

- Enriched uranium is for industry and should be in nuclear bunkers under mountains; there's no way to go there and get it (unless it's something arranged with someone on the inside who handed over the uranium, like they handed over Maduro in Venezuela).

- Oil infrastructure, the same thing. Karg Island doesn't have 90% of Iran's oil; that's just another piece of fake news.

From 2014 to 2022, the US + NATO + 10 Arab countries invaded Yemen and lost to the Houthis. Now, answer this for me, my friend: which country are they going to "invade" Iran from? Because soldiers will have to cross the border somewhere, where will they come from?

I think thats going to be the biggest theme of this war. That Iran were released the FPV drone videos hunting US soldiers to get American people riled up against the war.
That itself will lead the government to pull out of that region..

My prediction is that the US and Israel are about to receive a bloody nose. Any attempt to invade Iran to secure oil infrastructure and capture enriched uranium is going to backfire spectacularly. Such an operation is extremely difficult to achieve, especially when the Iranians are fully aware that a ground incursion is imminent. The Iranians have undoubtedly been preparing to the fullest to avoid any surprises. It is one thing to invade unannounced, but here, the element of surprise is non-existent.

Iran is operating from a defender's advantage. Invading a country with Iran’s mountainous geography and sophisticated layered defense (asymmetrical warfare, proxies, and underground facilities) is a nightmare for any military.

Donald Trump is about to worsen this war from a US perspective. He is desperate and making desperate moves. The war against Iran hasn't yielded the desired outcome for Israel and the US.

Google has heavily blurred almost 80% of israel since today evening (based on what I can roughly guess). Especially industrial areas, public places and major cities (Beer Sheeva for example is almost completely blurred). Apple Maps is still the same though, maybe they didn't get the memo yet

Only areas bordering Gaza used to be blurred, but since today evening, nothing is identifiable across most of israel. Some areas are lightly degraded, but several areas are now are a blurry mess.

Maybe its a precaution in advance so nobody can see any damages in map updates. Or maybe they think Iran / Hezbollah are using Google maps to find targets ? Or they do not want people to match fire-maps against actual structures.

In any case, this shows things are not good for israel, if such actions are being taken now.

Weekend Lockdowns are announced here in Pakistan so this war in middle east is directly affecting Pakistan and that too very badly.
Being part of any consortium associated with safe supply chain is only natural discourse of events even if it's against Iran.
More and more countries will be joining. Consortium may be about adopting alternate paths for shipping or whatever they think to ease the situation.
