Weekend Lockdowns are announced here in Pakistan so this war in middle east is directly affecting Pakistan and that too very badly.
Being part of any consortium associated with safe supply chain is only natural discourse of events even if it's against Iran.
More and more countries will be joining. Consortium may be about adopting alternate paths for shipping or whatever they think to ease the situation.

Joining a US-Israel strategically aligned consortium at this time would strain relations with Tehran and exacerbate domestic sectarian tensions.
