Of course, let's be honest - there are comically few politicians who are not aligned with the neoconservative policies, who don't subscribe to unipolar hegemonistic views. Most votes in favor of this kind of resolution (as was attempted earlier and failed) are primarily virtue signaling to maintain party lines, not out of any actual desire to end a war. And let's not forget: war is good for business. Boeing gets contracts, Lockheeb Martinstein gets contracts, Raytheonberg gets contracts, there's a lot of money in this. Jobs too.
