US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Drop it Raptor.

The analogy is correct. Today's drone warfare is the modern equivalent of a booby trap. In every battle with the North Vietnamese, we routed them. And then turned right around on a hundred occasions and gave the ground right back.

A US ground offensive will be bloody alright. And unlike the current situation where we know the drones are coming, we'll be faced for the first time of trying to conduct offensive operations while also contending with drones.

Well thank you...you just admitted they can't have tanks, aircraft, and other heavy equipment outdoors.

Unless, Sherlock, you think a military these days only consists of missiles...not the men and machines like fighters, tanks, and helicopters.

So according to you much of their military equipment is useless because it is all hiding underground unable to be used.

I gave you too much credit calling your Sherlock, you seem pretty clueless.

Ok let me spell it out for you. Iran built missile and drone forces because of decades of severe sanctions, they relied on themselves and built most of their weapons in house. Their strategy is of survival knowing they cant match airpower as they had none. So those missile cities were built deep underground to be protected from airstrikes.

Their missile cities continue to fire out missiles and they are also using lots of drones, so their strategy is working and their equipment is not useless.

Iranian ground forces better hope it goes better for them than the Iraqis or Russians that tested US ground forces in Syria. Because they will have a ton of CAS in support, and can pull up their own rocket and tube artillery and drones. A lot of Iranians are going to die
Only some stupid general will send his army to a conventional war with America ... asymmetric war is the only option for majority of the countries of the world.

Also bear in mind of reports Iran has been receiving assistance from North Korea.

US troops will be dealing with two armies. The regular army, likely under equipped, and the IRGC, who has all the better toys to fight with. The IRGC will be fanatical, don't doubt that. Plus, they have the added advantage of fighting on home turf.

The Russians we faced in Syria were not regular army. They were Wagner Group; thugs for hire.

ah so this is your definition of what a typical military base is..gotcha.

plus just ignore those places with those "runway thingies" that move men and material around your country quickly...or those railway thingies to move tanks and equipment.

meh what can NK do ,russia is the main one especially when US puts boot on the ground . i bet they want to retrun the favor
Russia has been. They've been assisting Iran with satellite photos and targeting data.

Its cope friend.

but it was ONE of the goals? CORRECT? So my point still stands.

no you havent you have been spamming tweets

correct, a humble observation

Optics from the US assets in the region dont look crystal either pal.

Where do you get off talking like this. You light a fire in the region killing and displacing thousands of people and then have the gall to say "life goes on"? Respectfully get off yohr high horse. That shit doesnt fly and makes you look conceited.

Also... no nation is an island in tjis global economy my friend.

I’ve been saying it for weeks. You can go back to Trumps Feb 28 statement. Regime change is up to Iranians, not 200K American troops who will nation build for a decade.

No coping here, I’m more than happy with the US military’s performance. They’ve executed their objectives to a tee. If regime survival and wishcasting economic recession on the US is all the regime supporters can muster, it’s not going well for them.

You said any Iranian bases being unscathed, I pointed out their missile bases which are operational having much less impact. Ofcourse bases out in the open without air defences wont stand a chance.

Not everything has to be above ground they have lots underground including tunnel networks. Where do you think Hamas and Hezbollah got the idea.

Doesn’t matter if it was Wagner group, still Russian supported and the same dynamics hold here with US air supremacy. I’ll stand by what I said. The US has routed every ground force its faced since the days of Schwarzkopf. And spare me the Taliban rebuttal. They were routed in a month until we decided to nation build.
