They obviously did this to prevent treatments of the wounded present and future...don't be surprised if these devils start to level every Iranian hospital to take out all the medics. They did this during the Viet Nam war too.

My first girl friend was Zoroastrian.

Yes I know a lot.
I never knew Pakistan had Zoroastrians. I just Googled it:

"Yes, Pakistan has a small, historically significant community of Zoroastrians, locally known as Parsis. As of 2025–2026, roughly 800 to 900 reside in Pakistan, mostly in Karachi, with a few dozen elsewhere, though the community is rapidly shrinking due to aging and migration to countries like Australia, Canada, and the UK."

So, out of 800-900 people in a country of over 200 million people, you dated one. What are the chances? Still, pretty interesting.
I guess one learns a new thing everyday.

Well, then you probably know when Zoroastrians historically drank "Gomez". First of all, it was collected from purely bred bulls as a medicine. Secondly, It was for when a person came into contact with a corpse. It was meant to be used as an anti-septic against possible infections. Thirdly, even the most conservative Zoroastrian priests consider it an obsolete practice now.

I wonder why all of sudden these European countries have stood up against the US now due to Iran war? They didnt show this much courage in favor of Gaza which is being slaughtered for years now?
I wonder if they are trying to distance themselves from some potential nasty strike coming on Iran by US/Israel? Or is it just because of economic reasons?

It is not (just) "one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world", it created monotheism from which Abrahamic religions were born.

Some scholars say that tenets of Zoroastrianism helped to shape the major Abrahamic religions—including Judaism, Christianity and Islam—through the influence of the Persian Empire.
Zoroastrian concepts, including the idea of a single god, heaven, hell and a day of judgment, may have been first introduced to the Jewish community of Babylonia, where people from the Kingdom of Judea had been living in captivity for decades.
When Cyrus conquered Babylon in 539 B.C., he liberated the Babylonian Jews. Many returned home to Jerusalem, where their descendants helped to create the Hebrew Bible.
Thank you for that information. I had heard about that before, but I didn't know it was an accepted historical theory acknowledged by non-Iranian sources as well.

"We can do great things in Iran" Macron to Trump private texting.

Public statements are political bullshit for internal consumption.

France sent warships to Cyprus to defend from Iran missiles, and if they didnt send more it must be because USA doesnt ask for. But privately they seem wishing to cooperate like leaked private text message proved.

Thanks to Trump bizarre behavior we can know what really think some vassals.
That means nothing, 0 content. What if Macron says we can do great thing in Spain? Correct, all for either domestic consumption or sending an external message
Whatever the outcome of this war, Trump destroys the US as superpower. He makes the same mistake like Putin to Russia.

Probably economic reasons. If Iran manages to temporarily interrupt global navigation in Bab El-Mandeb and the Suez Canal through its proxies, the Europeans will be hit the worst.

Also, they're probably afraid of the side effects of war if it gets too long. They're probably afraid of new waves of immigration from the Middle East. They do not want Iran to be destabilized to the point that millions would be forced to leave.

They would rather prefer Iran to be contained and suffering in isolation with a functional government. They do not want to suffer the consequences of a failed-state Iran, which is likely if this war gets longer and spirals out of control.

US bases are being hit again and again, are they not completely withdrawn? I know the Saudi one isn't but how is the US continue to use these bases with constant missile and drone strikes? Unless the damage isn't as extensive as we would have hoped for.
