Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

You're right, there isn't much that we can do in practice.
I was thinking about a swarm attack on USS Gerald Ford while passing through the Red Sea, but I'm not sure if the Houthis are willing to go down for us.

We should at least keep them as farthest as possible from our shores.
One thing that I know has been talked about in the past (it's not something you could do now in the middle of a high intensity war) with Russia and Ukraine is having passive unmanned suicide drones just floating around out there. I don't remember what the activation or maintenance mechanisms were, but you maybe could use oil platforms as hidden staging points or (more shady and this is what Ukraine has done) civilian cargo vessels to get your assets in location in standby.

This requires some system like Starlink...which could be a possibility. I don't know how you turn off a terminal for a massive swathe of geographical area that's generally indeterminate. I don't think the USN actively jams unauthorized Starlink terminals as part of their CSG operations, but I wouldn't know.

How does he know they have rescued the pilot?
I'm not saying he's wrong, I just don't know how he has access to that kind of information before it is released to the media.

Really bad optics in the middle of this war for Hegseth to have fired the 'Army Chief' of America and I think two other senior Generals fired. One version said they were fired because were objecting to the way the war is going--especially bombing the civilian targets in Iran which would be a war crime. While the pro Trump people saying they were fired for forcing the Covid vaccines on troops which led to heart attacks.
Either way, very bad optics. And if only Tulsi Gabbard is also fired/resigns... Do it, Tulsi!

US is currently attempting a "Rescue mission" to rescue the F15 Pilots , some sources claim 1pilot is dead another one is alive, some sources claim both are dead.

Clashes between the Revolutionary Guard and the US Army in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad after the US Army carried out airborne landing operations, which led to casualties among US forces and failure to rescue the pilots

Wow, 1 week of talking about Kharg or Chahbahar .. and now this pilot situation is leading to actual ground landing attempts and fights between Iranian and US forces in Kohgiluyeh, Western Iran

Seems like a large op, so possibly it is now a mission to rescue not just the pilots of the F-15E, but maybe even also rescue the crew of the downed SF UH-60 that tried to rescue them?

US C130s and Blackhawk helicopters are literally flying openly and on low altitude in Iran.

IRGC what are you doing... Come on 😿
