We were able to hit and down very low flying American planes during the 60s 70s by concentrating tens or hundreds of rifles at the planes by saturation fire. If they are captured I highly doubt you will hear news about them being alive or dead for hours or even days the fact the Iranian news said there was a search could simply be misdirection on Irans part
