❗️Iran’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters commander, Brig. Gen. Alireza Elhami, said that Iran is now capable of intercepting and “hunting” advanced enemy aircraft, including fifth-generation fighter jets and drones, using domestically developed methods and systems.

He stated that during the Ramadan War, Iran’s air defenses shot down several advanced enemy aircraft and more than 160 drones, including MQ-9, Hermes, and other models, as well as dozens of cruise missiles, intercepting them before they could carry out attacks.

Elhami added that multiple fourth and fifth-generation fighter jets were targeted, damaged, or downed by Iranian Army and IRGC air defense units, attributing this to new tactics, indigenous systems, and operational innovations that have disrupted and confused the enemy.

I really don't think that the US and Israel have run out of interceptors yet. From the very first day of planning this operation, it was clear that Iran would launch at least 1500 missiles along with thousands of drones.

I think they are managing the interceptors carefully because they are unsure about how long this war will last.

There are indications from Washington that they are quite taken aback by Iran's hardened position and determination.

These high end interceptors were only available at max 1000 for ME region and they need 2 to have 95% chance of hit even against 10 year old Emad/Ghadr missiles.

They are not aimed at civilian areas. The cluster munitions are used for air Base suppression. Some go astray because Ben Gurion (where U.S tankers fly out of) is right next to Tel Aviv. Those are the ones that Israel allows the world to see and clame Iran is targeting civilians.
