Pakistan’s predicament is understandable.

The Arabs have been keeping it financially afloat and no matter how much one hates their guts, the reality is Pakistan has to side with Saudis.

Meanwhile, Iran also knows this, hence their attacks on Saudis are measured.

UAE is another beast. Pakistan can do well to clear its loan with UAE and hurt its interest. As UAE’s interest clearly counters with that of Pakistan. The Indian factor, downplaying Gwadar, deep involvement with the Zios, amongst a few.

True. I for one am not in favor of the defence pact.

Times like these, the state needs to walk a very fine line.

Folks saying Arabs should kick US out from their soil...erm what if America refuses to leave? What will they do then?
The yanks should never have been welcomed in that part, or any part, of the world.

That is not important at this point. The important thing is to publicly state and act accordingly so that their position becomes abundantly clear.

And it has not asked Pakistan .. and there's a perfectly good reason for that, which is above the intellectual levels of Godi Media who happen to dumb down all Indians every day.

Indians can keep screaming about it 20 times a day like they have been since last 1 month and that won't amount to anything. We know who that pact is for (again, not for Iran) and when the time comes, Pakistan will be ready to act on it. Pakistan just refused to vote in favour of a GCC resolution in UNSC today (that was bought by GCC, against Iran) so there is a lot more to this issue, than you know.

I don’t think Pakistan will join the war against Iran. The condemnation is just posturing.

Of course it is posturing. Pakistan has to appear to 'support' the Saudis without doing any 'offensive' against Iran. I foresee at most protection of Saudi facilities from Iranian missiles. Also, it is to be noted, when UAE took back its billions from Pakistan just recently, Saudi Arabia has stepped up to try to support Pakistan's dwindled foreign exchange reserves.
Anyway, Litmus Test for Iran's anger toward Pakistan will be any hostile statements/actions against Pakistan, which is unlikely.

First you need to know that Saudia or any gulf country haven't participated in any war against israel .. it was mainly Egypt and sometimes Syria plus Jordan.

and If you want to say that Egypt was defeated, then yes , but let me enlighten you some info .. in 1956 we were attacked by 3 nations at same time (england,france and israel) . in 1967 the U.S aided israel with intelligent info through 4 planes ( RF-4c phantoom) you can find these info in the book (taking sides) by the author steven green, they had top notch tech and we didn't.

the USS liberty (that was attacked by the zionists ) was spying for israel. funny isn't it ?

and clearly we weren't defeated in 1973 even though the U.S aided israel through operation neckel grass.

Saudi Arabia in its estimation has decided to take this on the chin, and incur the least damage whilst UAE faces the real wrath. This is what it looks like to me.

Therefore military action right now looks to be off the table for the Saudis so therefore obviously the same for Pakistan.

The level of disinformation is beyond what I expected because some mental leap in logic says that the Pakistani army is now the Saudi army and therefore decides the Saudi policy.
