What option/choices do you have? Clearly Iran and US are both out of options.

Iranian infrastructure will be damaged even more if Pakistan does not buy more time. So the US does not need 2 weeks to plan on how to bomb Iran. It can do that tonight and continue for the next month.

Iran will do the same to GCC (Israel goes Scott-free since Iran has no ability to hit its key nemesis meaningfully) and the economy of the GCC/Iran will be set back by at least 5-7 years (I am being optimistic).

Logic will not work here unfortunately, US already shown that they drop troops and create a FOB in the middle of Iran if they want to, they don't have to hold Iran's land just keep bombing them, and eventually Iran will be like Syria and Iraq that it can't even control or do anything over its own Air space.
Pakistan's PM requesting 2 weeks ceasefire is seen as the nation of Pakistan bending over to America as we will be getting anything out of it, mind it that so far KSA/GCC has not fully joined the war, imagine if they do, right now its only their bases that is used by America, if the GCC use their own fighters to start bombing then the whole region will go kaboom, and guess who will have the last laugh?
