Lets not kid ourselves, aside from his blusters and threats, trump is desperate for a deal. A face saving excercise, he is a businessman, a bully, makes threats to create leverage in negotiations.
I hope the iranians use every second and minute in this ‘ceasefire’ to fully decentralise IRGC into localised independent fighting force to continue the long game. They cannot be as military naive as they have been so far, they need to learn from their mistakes and drag the yanks into a long drawn out conflict
The ceasefire and negotiations will break down fairly quickly as both positions are maximalist and very little room to manoeuvre at this stage.
Iran can do nothing about the aerial bombardment and destruction of infrastructure, energy, bridges etc
What Iran should continue to focus on is the continued blocking of the straits and creating fissure between Trumps positions and Netanyahu's ambitions
