A Pakistani analyst (maybe Asma Shirazi) had already predicted 1-2 days ago that after the first indirect, there would be the direct talks. Vance is in a rush to go back and I believe he has the authority and I also believe Iran's Ghalibaf also has the authority. Both sides know that and also the groundwork was already done for this meeting otherwise Vance wouldn't take a 15 hour risky flight to Pakistan for the Islamabad Talks.
 
Someone should get a 757 with the call sign SAM095 or whatever is the call sign of airforce 2 and send it towards Delhi at top speed squeaking emergency. Imagine their media stories.

Don't read too much into it. He was in a suit when receiving Vance, probably because they were headed directly for talks.

or maybe he was in military uniform for iran due to ... well preparing himself to spank joos if necessary if they attack
 
As someone who has been a military analyst here for some years now and I have predicted all the conflicts of recent years and their outcomes.

- I predicted The Russo-Ukraine outcome
- I predicted the Syrian-SDF outcome
- I predicted the Gaza-Israel war outcome
- I predicted AF-Pak airstrikes and border conflicts was going nowhere
- I predicted the Azeri-Armenian conflict outcome
- I predicted that this tit for tat strikes on Iran was going absolutely nowhere

Battles I did not predict --> Syrian Civil war cause it was unpredictable.

Listen, I disapproved of Trump´s campaign on Iran because he has been mislead by deluded people in his circle. He was not given any advise whatsoever and I have been saying this for sometime now. That Airstrikes is basically obsolete in a conventional conflict against a massive country in territory. It is only there if you wanna score media headlines and sell papers but it serves really nothing beyond that.

Oh wow look I hit a stragetic area? You gotta take it from the enemy on the ground and overrun them period this is the only way you get things done! This whole doctrine is based on and started by the Israelis against Hamas but it is as useless as it can be. Israel is basically reduced to an airforce and they have overused it now to such an extent that I don´t see this card flying in the near future because it will be countered and found out. Israel just destroyed buildings but failed to actully beat Hamas itself on the ground conventionally in an area smaller then a normal sized apartment.

The US had no plans whatsoever going into this conflict and Trump was lied to basically by some deluded elements in his circle. He did not come prepared which is what he should have done and prepare the army to invade Iran for atleast 2-3 years before an actual invasion. If you don´t have any conventional warfare with Iran then you don´t need to waste your time and what all this tit for tat done is empower Iran and made Iran actully come out bigger and badder then before.

Trump weakend the US hegemony in the region because he didn´t come prepared nor had a plan before hand. In this region you have to come prepared or don´t start any war whatsoever.
