Probably back to war before the 2 weeks are up, though whether that means the civilian infrastructure strikes being threatened earlier or not idk

Well I figure Orangeman was hours away from taking out the infrastructure I don't see why he should wait. Iranian poster here said this may have been (paraphrasing if that) a stall tactic to replenish weapon systems and have 3 carriers and ground forces to have the option of taking coastal or island territory.

In JD Vance’s own words, he stated that Iran has not accepted the US/Israel terms for establishing peace.

But I’d like to know what kind of negotiation this is, in which terms are simply imposed. Did anyone inform the American delegation that this isn’t a surrender treaty?

They seem to be living in a different reality. This is not how you negotiate peace, and this delegation certainly includes many people who know that very well.

Here are 10 points explaining why Iran is not in a position to give in:

1. It controls the Strait of Hormuz, and any attempt to take it would be extremely bloody and result in heavy casualties;

2. It can close the other strait using the Houthis;

3. It has maintained a stable daily rate of missile and drone launches for several weeks, demonstrating it has a large arsenal;

4. Its ground forces still have intact equipment and high morale, especially after the failure at Isfahan;

5. No one knows where the enriched uranium is, nor is there any effective way to seize it;

6. It is Iran that is effectively sanctioning America, with fuel prices and inflation already knocking at the door;

7. It is Iran generating pressure on Trump from Gulf countries;

8. It is Iran generating pressure on Trump from its Asian and European allies;

9. Iran is well aware of the shortage of interceptors and is actively exploiting it;

10. Its air defense capabilities are gradually improving through the deployment of new equipment, showing that Iran has a long-term strategy.

On the other hand, the daily bombings are steadily eroding Iranian infrastructure. The decisive factor in this war is precisely whether this resilience will prove sustainable in the long run.

These two weeks were nothing more than time for Israel to move its interceptors around and for US to bring in more air defenses, equipment and troops into the region. Israel was running lone and in single digits for interceptors. The US and Israel likely have to steal NATO stocks and Asia stocks to replenish for now.

Vance came and likely delivered the same crappy deal as before: No enrichment, No HEU, limit missiles, and drop support for Hezbollah in exchange for some sanctions relief.

Qalibaf and Argachi spent alot of political capital to make themselves look like fool.

You have to understand the nature of the beast... Iranians assume they are dealing with a sane person. He's not... no one is... none in his team. He bankrupted casinos... bankrupting US... every thing has hit gas to the max off the cliff!
However these talks showed the Chinese, finally that there is no recourse. The guy who came after them with tariffs and didn't turn until he burned Americans to the point he HAD to... He was made to undo tariffs... by American business, bond and stock market and finally the courts BUT NOT the American consumer who had to foot the bill of his folly. Just like right now the world is paying, footing the bill for his war.

The end result will become even more apparent and stark to climb out of... and as many assume correctly He's burning America at the altar of zion. He is!

Nevertheless, China cannot remain a spectator. Surely, China too has major stakes.

Usa Israel will not back off, they also have the support from GCC. China is supporting Iran since Iran is part of SCO and BRICS but they will not militarily intervene or sell advance weaponary. The only way out for Iran is to accept some of Usa demands then get gurantees from China Russia, open a joint military base in Iran, to stop future attacks, then rebuild themselves.

China isn’t doing anything it didn’t do before this war. It’s buying oil, but even that is no longer as critical as there are many buyers for Iranian oil now.

And it’s supplying intel, which is already part of the the relationship. If anything, China is disengaged from this conflict.

The problem with advance weaponary is there is a lag until it’s operational especially for a country that doesn’t have the training with that weaponary. We saw this Ukraine where it took soldiers 2-4 months to get trained on NATO equipment before it was deployable.

Assad had two russian airbases and a naval port in Syria. What difference did it make?

A military base can be evacuated. The only guarantee worth anything is a mutual defense clause.
