As people have said, this guy is doing anything and everything to break the 2 week ceasefire.

He is trying to agitate the Iranian's into taking the first step, so he can say that they were the one's to break the ceasefire.

The nature of war changed to Iran containment... which is not a US win but since the nature of beast changed because Iran started negotiations on a temporary ceasefire it allowed US to change priorities.
Response should be asymmetric as well. Shut down Red Sea traffic. The oil and gas is still going up... if he cared about Americans it would matter however the world's largest consumers will feeling the pinch.
At this point point orange has burned all bridges ... the leverage he assumed the office of US President afforded has been trashed... and coming failures aren't his alone they're American.
So Yes, more trade and routes need to shuttered in response. In response the bond yields are at an all time high still over 4.3... as I said this is an especially tough fiscal year... and he's bluffing on a hand he hasn't got... the yields will cross 4.5 as more economies feeling the pinch pull their money out of US bonds... this is a spiral that will ultimately hit the stocks... where his actual manipulation lies...
People ask why don't US do x,y and z... well because they have only remained subject to that projection... that him as a savior tweet was probably saved for another day... where he actually delivered something. He failed on every single level... and just couldn't wait to put that out regardless.

Iranians will have to think out side the box... on the greater scale... where powers that be consider men in uniform as mere plastic fidgets or pawns on the board to be expended on their financial and political goals. And nothing else...

I understand your feeling. But now right now Ayatollah doesn´t exist anymore or is not in charge, it is the Sepah who is giving their instructions and planning the war.
It is a good time for redeploying forces, opening entrances in missile bases and improvise more launchers. If you think that Sepah is not taking advantage also of this shift you´re wrong.
