US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

if you just admit your loss people will have more respect for you

Iran has lost the war. Its military and nuclear industrial bases are devastated. Half its leaders are dead. Its Navy, Air Force, and air defenses are destroyed.

The US now controls the Strait. Iran is fully blockaded and suffering near half a billion of economic damage everyday the blockade persists. Iran is within days/weeks of having to shutdown its oil wells which is permanent damage to the tune of billions of dollars in lost revenue.

Meanwhile Brent crude is sub $90, stocks are back to record highs, and US energy exports are at all time highs.

Irans Strait card backfired big time and now theres infighting between the IRGC and civilian leadership because its communication strategy has been atrocious. One is conceding to the US, the other isn’t. If the latter has its way, Iran is looking at terminal economic collapse.

The last month has shown the middle east that to have US bases means zero protection. Means you are a target if you do allow these bases to be used.
No one joined in the shower of shit the Americans attempted.
Its like they charged and turned round expecting full support and NO one joined in.
Mad orange baboon single handed brought the mighty US to its knees.
Humiliation is what they've achieved. Trump calling this as a victory just shows how dumb this man is.
The soft powers have just sat back and allowed the US to be the baboons.
Well done Trumpy

Ok - what do you want us to do?
Thank you?
Those ships you have - apparently have starving sailors. Feed your poor and feed your troops and stop spamming crap.

Giving updates on the war and positioning of US forces in the region is not spamming.

Feed your poor

... and while you're at it, also provide health coverage.

The changes in SNAP benefits and healthcare coverages will be huge issues in the midterms for the Democrats to capitalize on, but they are so far left of the mainstream that they have lost the all important middle USA voters.

What's more, the inflationary costs have yet to pass through the system fully.

We're all in for a rough ride for sure.

He did claim victory in an interview because the strait is now opened..........

Funny, because this was never a goal to begin with, because it was already opened before we bomb Iran........
US Goal kept changing throughout the war/conflict, it was obvious from the start the US govt rather have Iran and them negotiate a deal, but of course God's chosen people want war and destruction so their space God can arrive and finally turn us all into their slaves. Hopefully the war ended, and both side can claim victory and go home, but bigger question remain will Israel be contained? Can America stand up to Israel and tell them enough is enough ? and stop dragging them into forever wars? I doubt it as I can be AIPAC already have next Potential US president candidate under their thumb, on both side. Maybe its high time we have a US President who actually put America and American interest first, and work towards the betterment of his/her country and people, who by in large live pay check to pay check and in many instance can't even afford proper medicare.

Dan F.'s daughter told him in sporadic messages – when the USS Tripoli reached a pocket of internet service – that members were rationing their food supplies on the ship. Fresh produce was nowhere to be found, she told him.

My dad used to tell how they operated aircraft in 71 with literally a dalda ka canister riveted on bullet holes between sorties :)
The crew chief would make a judgment call to see if the bullet/fragment had not damaged any internal system/wiring, then just flatten a can and rivet it. tell the pilot not to take over X ft :D
You are not saying anything new. When I was active duty and on the F-111, I used to train Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR), we used soda cans to patch surfaces and wooden broomsticks to replace metal push-pull rods, just for one more mission. It is true that the crewdog has the final decision on his airplane.

That era of romantic aviation is over.
