Iran should be building nuclear shelters for 90 million in Iran in the mountains, because a strong winning Iran is not tolerated. And then make ICBM nukes. That is winning.

They were at sea for the entire duration resupply at sea would've compromised ongoing operations. Fresh food lasts 2 to three weeks after that's it's canned or frozen food. The Iranians were deliberately targeting resupply. It wasn't a issue there was plenty of food but not the kind people like to eat.

I am pretty sure Abe ported before this whole thing kicked off on Feb 28, which is less than 2 months ago, and they have scheduled a port call every 2 months. I don't see the schedule being missed here to a level that essential supplies were degraded to this level.

Again, on the tail end of a 6-month deployment, with no port call and no underway supplies, that could happen. Abe got the order to deploy in late Jan; on the other hand, Tripoli AAG has the deployment order in March, which is even less likely to have suffered from supply strain like that.

On the other hand, I don't see how Iran can interdict the underway replenishment for the Carrier Group; they are outside the Strait of Hormuz AOR, regular traffic transit through the Gulf of Oman or Arabian Sea as of now, so they could just do underway replenishment there. It's not like the entire Carrier Battle Group was stuck inside the strait.

Yes, this site is turning into a containment forum of Chinese and Iranians self-congratulating on the victory in surrendering to the US. Iran won the war and lost the peace negotiations. Iran should have returned to total hostilities with the violations of the Iranian 10 point plan. Yet, US and Israel walked over Iran since because the fear caused by trump threats blamed on Israel worked 100%. The psyops worked during the negociations. China lost the June War telling Iran to surrender. China backed Iran in the UNSC, so this loss goes to Iran.

The nuclear inspections that Iran will now accept will provide good targeting information for that attack.

This war was useless, because the US would wait until better defended from drones and missiles and Iran would not have have ICBM nukes in the next war. As Iran needs for the next war, if you take out our civ, we can take you out.

Iran played their card, showed it could hold out for months with Hormuz closed, and only civilization destruction could defeat Iran with Iran taking out the foreigners in the region with oil and gas gone for years.
