A little offtopic but It is in Pakistan's DNA. Here a Palestinian journalist living in Pakistan saying about the same as your post. His Urdu is pretty decent and reminds me of some Pathan speaking Urdu. LOL.

They will remind it when they will try to purchase plane tickets to go to vacation and pay gas for their cars

I'm sure that is true but right now there's no protests/rallys in the streets for or against things.

All the loud rhetoric has died down.

Trump outflanked? How Iran is bypassing Strait of Hormuz blockade

Have to hand it to Channel 4 news, they have been pretty impartial and covered lots of strategic and important angles.

This piece is interesting as well, their view is Pak, Saudi and Iran have an arrangement in place, Saudi's can export their oil via Red Sea, Pak will allow Iranian ships to pass through its waters and this has really pee'd off the Emirates - hence their reactions asking Pak for money back and now leaving OPEC - also talks of them leaving other organisations like GCC.

Lots of that has simply moved online. People don't approve of the war and its associated costs. That the war was un-necessary is the real kicker.

I never said people are suddenly approving anything..I'm saying people have gone back to the usual apathy.

Another consequence of this war between US- Israel and Iran is that it has without doubt , confirmed which country- Iran, is the hegemon of the Persian gulf region, and it will have huge ramifications for the region, because all this while, China and Russia(and a few other global powers like India and Turkey) have been managing their relationships (and related strategies) with the Persian gulf states under the assumption that there is no clear regional hegemon, but this war has cleared any doubts about that now, which means that global powers will not treat Persian gulf states the same anymore, because there is a BOSS country in the region and it's interests and perspectives now have to be factored into all relationships, decisions and actions related to the Persian gulf. Pakistani troops and equipment being shipped quickly to KSA might also be a by product of this newly (but inconveniently)established reality in the region. Pakistan brokering peace between iran and US might also be a function of this new reality also(it reflects an acceptance that iran is who matters in the persian gulf, not gcc with all their money, non existent military capabilities and warped interpretation of islam).
Of course Iran is dominant force in the Persian Gulf region, as always I would say, name is one of the oldest geographical nomenclature that is still in use.

Only real damage for Iranian National interest in last decades is Syria, that was anyway the weakest link in the Axis of resistance, or Iranian Regional Commonwealth, if we use western discourse...

But this war was clear demonstration of power, Iran is unmatched military force and politically dominant, influential nation...

They are losing one round, wining next two and they are here to stay in that position...

This is actually twisted, bizarre situation that only Trump could create...

American job is to ensure functional bypass, protected way from eventual Iranian attempt to block it, not to block it and Iran is fighting blockade...

Crazy time...

Domestic gasoline prices in the US are going absolutely bananas.

Outage at the BP Whiting refinery, a sharp climb in the price of crude, and massive draws on gasoline inventories is creating a perfect storm.

We're heading to $4.50/gallon national average soon. It likely won't stop there.
