I just filled up at $5.89 per gallon, making it the first fillup over $200. The grocery bill today was over $500 for the same items bought a month ago for $350.

Ouch.

Now think about the millions of families living paycheck to paycheck a year ago who only got a 2% raise this year only to see, effectively a $1.50/hour pay cut, when higher fuel expenses are factored in.

Spirit is the Carnival Cruise ships of airlines do some research and see what type of people fly. Only fear is now these people will fly Delta or AA hopefully it will be way above their budget.
