Now think about the millions of families living paycheck to paycheck a year ago who only got a 2% raise this year only to see, effectively a $1.50/hour pay cut, when higher fuel expenses are factored in.Real life, today:
I just filled up at $5.89 per gallon, making it the first fillup over $200. The grocery bill today was over $500 for the same items bought a month ago for $350.
Ouch.
