PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

If the war had been long or decided by PAF to be long, PAF would have killed front line IAF fighters way faster than losing its own jets......probably close to 8-10 IAF jets shot down for one of PAF's own.

For the remaining tejas/mig/jaguar type garbage, F-16s in the back would have pounded on them with AMRAAMs like J-10Cs did to Rafales and MKI with PL15s.

Their clown ass air chief then would have been showing pieces of spent PL15 along with AMRAAMs on TV........possibly also Sidewinders/PL10s.

Again i say, IAF is in no position to go up against PAF in Air to Air combat. That day is gone.

Which is also why PAF is taking its time to decide what to procure and do next.

Nope - You can't shoot their jets if they remain grounded - destroy on ground? Maybe.

8th May : IAF remains absent
9th May : IAF remains absent
10th May : carries out a couple sneak attacks - remains absent when our fighters show up.

Honestly, feel some members are failing to grasp just how signficant May 7th was.

Since then India has TALKED a lot an done nothing, nada. IAF do not have any fighters coming (not counting the Tejas freak show) for the next 5 years minimum. We are on here debating if J-35 is coming this year or next year.

PAF jets flew to Saudi and Iran showing the trust these countries place in PAF. The US fricking president boasts about the PAF.

One of our senior officers only a few days ago confiming more J-10Cs and upgraded JF-17s and J-35 in pipeline.

We have 10 AEW for Pakistan, they have 5 for all of India. Things ESSENTIAL for modern air warfare.

PAF has, for the first time, surpassed IAF. Right now an SU-30MKI would struggle against Pakistans 2nd tier defence (F-16s and JF-17 Block IIs)

I think we are missing a huge reason behind J35 acquisition. Air superiority.

Without us controlling the airspace like we did in May ( and Insha Allah do every single time we meet Indians) we need to have a more capable and modern aircraft than Rafael . I understand J10 did splendid job but I believe Indians have learnt and modified their tactics etc to counter J10. For the next encounter we need an equally nasty surprise for our neighbours .

Just think about it for a second …. In the absence of air superiority, Rafael , Su and Mirages / Jaguars will operate with impunity and will have the range and ordinance to devastate our infrastructure and bases ….. giving them very limited opportunities to attack from a long distance is what Pakistan needs And for that we need an air superiority fighter like J35 ASAP to keep them away.

That was literally their plane last year, your whole argument broke down at

"In the absence of air superiority,". We whupped them. 8 planes down in an hour is a whupping. We did that without J-35.

J-35 is to make sure that continues but we can also do barrel roles over the Red Fort in the next war.....

wth j 35 and time paf has now it can improve its docrine to get the best of fifth gen by exloiting it max potential. paf will use it with man unmanned ew 4.5 gen space. inshaAllah iaf will see how thing to be done

Ummm no you can’t . There is a huge difference when we surprised them with our weapons and tactics and next time when they learn and come prepared .

One more thing bro I really don’t like this chest thumping and bravado and unnecessary hype …. Allah gives and takes honour from who ever he wishes and he certainly doesn’t like arrogance , pride and boasting .

Yes Ma sha Allah PAF did excellent but it reminds me of a talk with Musharraf’s rught hand man who is settled in Canada and boasting about Kargil operation and how we shot down two planes and a helicopter and his logic was so flawed and so idiotic I almost lost my temper
Mi asked if they informed PAF before the operation and actually studied IAF ‘s possible response .
He had far less knowledge about ground support which IAF could provide than what I knew …….

Frustrating to see we are still stuck in one Pakistani is better than 10 Indians mindset …. It will destroy us .

when we surprised them with our weapons and tactics and next time when they learn and come prepared
they suprised us and we still won in the air , also yes they will be prepared but so will we . we wont use the same tactics just like we switched it up after 2019

but yes agree with the rest

We shot 6-8 Indian fighters

However PAF could have torn IAF a new ass hole and shot down 20-30 more even

It was a complete mismatch and India s didn't know what hit them

Maybe we should have and taught Indians a lesson they would never forget,
Maybe we did right and gave indians enough of a beating that stopped a escalation that could have killed thousands

It's the above that every professional and military understands and the indians don't

The indians were dead In the water

The follow on attempted hits by both sides, were limited strikes before the ceasefire which the indians have made into fantasy
The fanboys can use this to sooth their ego and humiliation but the Indian military understands how badly they were beaten

Imho, we can also break their backs on probably the first day of strikes if we integrate PL-17Es or future PL-21Es on our J-10CEs, again, it is up to China to integrate them and up to us to create even a more robust kill-chain.

I believe that with a volley of PL-17Es targeting, let's say, their strategic assets (i.e., an AWACS like Netra or whatever), their whole strike package would definitely break formation. Because their AWACS would try to dive and retreat to survive a bunch of missiles streaming in at Mach 5ish speed. Rafales, Su-30MKIs, or any other shit that India possesses would lose their 'God's eye view' once their AWACS retreats to save its ass or even an absolute bingo if we get its ass and shoot it down.

That is when I believe the PAF may try to take out the blinded Indian jets one by one because in order to see, they will have to turn on their high-powered radars once the AWACS retreat. They could be picked off with either the PL-15E (dangerous because the Indians would never repeat the May 2025 mistake of being so close to the border + Indian IADS threats) or, who knows, with the PL-17E or a future, more maneuverable missile which could be the PL-21E BVRAAM (air-breathing ramjet, SFDR tech, very lethal NEZ for Indian jets to escape) with a range of 300km+.

As said by that PAF official, there is not really a clear cut requirement for a J-35AE for now. I am pretty sure that the air force would 100% focus on J-10CEs even in the next round to take on the Indians with longer sticks.

P.S.: a hypothetical scenario of course considering that they will struggle with Super Sukhois and those deadly R-37M BVRAAMs equivalent to PL-17 + some sort of SEAD/DEAD ops of course because in order to utilize the max range of a PL-17E i.e., 400-450km... our J-10CEs would have to fly at super high altitude (very vulnerable to S-400) with a supersonic dash, lofted glide, and that stick would be hitting Mach 6+ in minimum drag

The Pakistan Air Force has signed a preliminary cooperative agreement to acquire China's Shenyang Jian-35 stealth fighter, in a move seen as one of the most strategic shifts in air power in South Asia. This development was revealed by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, Lieutenant General Pilot Tariq Ghazi, noting that Islamabad is simultaneously seeking to strengthen its air arsenal with a package of long-range precision weapons, additional Chengdu Jian-10C aircraft, as well as substantially upgraded versions of the joint-made JF-17 Thunder fighter.

Islamabad revealed last June that Beijing had offered it an integrated package that included: 40 Jian-35 stealth fighters, the KJ-500 early warning aircraft, and the HQ-19 air defense system. While the Jian-35 represents a qualitative leap beyond the advanced fourth generation currently adopted by the Pakistan Air Force, the KJ-500 will bring about a qualitative shift in air surveillance capabilities by enabling early detection of enemy aircraft, including stealth aircraft; The HQ-19 will also constitute a fundamental upgrade compared to the HQ-9 system currently deployed.

I think you misunderstood his meaning.

His point should be that Indians have identified the strengths and weaknesses of J-10CE. In the later stages of the 5.7 aerial battle, the Indians no longer took off fighter jets to engage in air combat with J-10CE, but instead blocked the sky with S-400 and attacked the airport with BrahMos.

However, the J-10CE lacks strong A2G capability and cannot effectively deal with this tactic. The J-35 is capable of entering Indian airspace to clear India's missile launch platforms.

Hmmm - wrong picture.

It is F-35 you can see US symbols there, right?
