Our communities need to be prepared. The trend is visible all across the Western world. There is a deliberate campaign of hatred and violence against minorities, but specifically Muslims. The Muslims are specifically named and vilified. Violence against Muslims is watered down and even condoned. It is up to the Muslim communities to protect their families and themselves. Relying on the security apparatus that can also be compromised is not an option anymore.

The hunt for these kids was already on at the time of the shooting:

As a firearm owner, I'll ask the question: why weren't these weapons properly secured?

I spent 13 years studying and working in the USA and I truly didn’t understand the obsession of citizens with the guns.

While working at a small county hospital in Norwalk , Ohio I had my surgical assistant paying 23 percent interest on her car , being a single Mother responsible for two kids and she owned about a dozen guns . She also bought a new one for $800 as her bday present to herself and always insisted I come down to her farm to target practice .

She was a wonderful person and I can truly say 95 percent of Americans I have interacted with and still do one weekend every month are truly amazing people … they carry this wierd suspicion of one another and inherent love for the weapons which unfortunately leads to violent incidents which could easily be settled peacefully if guns were not present on the scene .

Indians are not the only ones trying to be white. You should've said most South Asians want to be white. It would be more accurate.

AS for Hispanics, there is a difference between being a Spaniard and a Hispanic (aka Latino); the former is white and European, and a colonizer, and the latter were not and victims of colonization. The latter had nothing to do with the Inquisition or took pleasure in the expulsion of Jews and Muslims. It was mostly a Spanish thing.

There are racist and bigoted people everywhere, but a whole group? Can't believe that.

what is that supposed to mean ? American politics is extremely corrupt. It's actually one the few countries to have effectively legalized corruption by calling it lobbying and allowing unlimited money in politics. Mr Trump has gone one step ahead of all this and is openly using the presidency to enrich himself and his family and friends via no bid contracts and insider trading. Trump actually reminds me of third world patronage politics like we see in Pakistan.

Guns have proven useless in protecting Americans from corruption or tyranny. You have to give it to the gun and automobile industry in America that they have successfully marketed guns and trucks as something that manly, tough, self-sufficient, "dont tread on me" types possess, even though its all BS.

Shootings at synagogues occur more frequently that at mosques.

Why would there should be any attack on mosques at all ? There is no excuse for it. The Jewish state did a genocide in Gaza with US made weapons. Did mass murder of children, dropped LGBs over refugee camps and forced millions to leave their homes. Doing same thing in Lebanon.

Had it the other way around, then there wouldn't be any mosque left standing in the US. Even though if muslims drop bombs and kill 100,000 israelis that would be kind of justified (as they'd be attacking people who have occupied their country and thrown out Palestinian muslims out of their homes.)

So, the tolerance for muslims / mosques in US could only be measured, if muslims do as much mass murder as Jewish state did in scale.
