No, that’s not saying we surrender or give up.
Look at the Vietnam wars with the Mongol armies. We told them we don’t want war, we seek peaceful settlement, but they refused. Our victory over Mongolia empire pays with millions of deaths and destruction. For what?

Agreed.... my only wish is Vietnam shouldn't worry about Chinese reactions if Vietnam wants to procure something.... I remember you had once started a thread saying Vietnam wants F16 but worried about Chinese reactions..... this is all sign of weakness.... and you are yourself portraying your country as weak infront of international members here....

personally I love Vietnam and it's my dream to visit your beautiful country.... my dad used to tell me how Vietnam was the only country to beat America and China to the pulp....and since then I have this respect for Vietnam 🇻🇳

Sure, Vietnam is not like some bragging superpower always loses in wars even to seven times smaller opponent, lol. Must be comforting to some poor souls of some country that there nation in the world that can fulfil those peoples dream of beating their enemy, lol.

Is Vietnam your private property that you don't want an Indian talking with them about Vietnam?

Lol you asked me to defeat small Pakistan.... we will bomb this nuclear power without any hesitation if the need arises in the future again.... these are the guts....

You first capture 100 times smaller Taiwan.... capture whatever disputed islands from 80 times non nuclear Philippines.... make Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia surrender to your demands and then talk to me...

Please don't poke your nose when I'm not engaging you directly otherwise I'll have to expose your semi landlocked situation here again.... go worry about that...

I think if the India deal goes thru, the army is most interested of turbofan or turbojet engines. Vietnam domestic engines are still not good enough for long range cruise missiles or aircraft.
