Whenever I look at these different militant groups and outfits like TTP or Gul Bahadur Group etc. I am reminded of the ancient Roman Republic or Roman Empire history, where the Germanic tribes (called Barbarians by Roman standards) were constantly in war with the Romans for centuries, with conflicts and wars at the Roman-Germania border and many times the Germanic barbarians managing to invade the border into Rome and looting and destroying towns and even on few instances Rome itself, while also suffering total and utter defeat by the Romans especially with generals like Julius Caesar or Gaius Marius etc. These TTP and other offshoot Pashtoon militant groups are the Germanic Tribal armies of today and their methods are as barbaric as the Roman civilization use to call the Germanic tribes.

funny enough we let them take bodies back
it like a truce , we dont desecrate their bodies and they dont do the some ( but some times they do )
like most pics of dead comanders come from ttp them selves at their funerals
anyway not the same u can hide/burry 3 to 5 bodies but u cant hide 400 .

It actually worked really well though. Especially because they have a lot of local support simply evacuating ensures you gain sepatate locals from militants a lot easier.
Plus the psychological impact from moving out and moving back in again makes the appetite for insurgency a lot less and acceptance of governance.
Apparently ttp terrorists not only killed 18 jua terrorists but they also abducted 10 terrorists and now keeping them as prisoners

Pakistan achieved nothing against the Baloch separatist insurgency over decades.

Balochistan is complex. It is Pashtun nationalist vs Baloch nationalist battleground.
Pashtun nationalist parties like PKMAP blackmail the government to try and flood the province with Afghan settlers to shift demographics in their own favour and grant them citizenship so they can make Balochs a minority and claim the entire land.
Baloch nationalists oppose this and claim their own areas.
The establishment has little control here because you piss off too many people then you lose all allies, and entire province turns violent.
