Balochistan - Is there a solution?

Army knows that too, probably much better than any of us. But borders are still like a sieve, even the official crossing like Chaman was opened near this Eid to let hordes in.

I wonder why

So our PAK ARMY intentionally didn't seal the border with Afghanistan and with Iran? The high ups have known BLA are using neighbouring countries , they just didn't want to they want a terrorism to go on and on!!

No political/Military solution will work until the Baluch people realize the very simple fact that you don't blow up innocent people and kids if the Govt is mean to you.

You can find people willing to blow themselves up in any and every corner of the world. The issue is the space they enjoy in Balochistan due to varying degrees of local support owing to a great many grievances of the locals.

We can cry foul all we want but it won't change anything until Balochi kids have a future to lose.

This is the crux of the issue. If people have enough to lose, they avoid violence.

The only solution is splitting Balochistan into smaller provinces.

Should be one of the first steps towards fixing this Balochistan mess.

Pakistan as a whole needs more provinces. At least 2-3 provinces out of Balochistan, 2 each out of Sindh and Punjab. KP, GB and AJK are small so probably can remain.

Turkey vs Kurds
Russia vs Chechens
India vs Sikhs

Even Afghanistans historical quelling of rebellions was successful

extreme brutalisation then carrots works

It worked but it also keeps these groups on the periphery. They are never 100% 'part of the gang'. There are better ways to do things.

Warna tou Israel bhi justified hay in bombing Gaza right, so what if some civilians died when they went after Hamas.

More than provinces, Pakistan needs an actual local bodies governance system.

Until then keep making provinces and it wont yield results. Pakistan is afterall a state suffering from the worst kind of Elite Capture.

Also Accountability

Have a easy to understand governance system so people can understand who is in charge and hold them accountable for **** ups

Not a bad suggestion at all mere bhai, but to begin with after splitting up perhaps a ruthless operation to set the stage is needed, like Turks vs Kurds. After this establish the carrot & stick approach and expansion of settlements alongside the coastal area Karachi to Gwadar!
For developing Hub city Pakistan can make a deal with Malik Riaz and other businessmen to develop Hub city. Since establishment is at odds with Bahria town and Malik Riaz, this can be a chance given to them to redeem themselves. Other corrupt rich Pakistani businessmen must be given this chance as well. These corrupt businessmen have harmed Pakistan and Pakistani immensely but this also presents Pakistan an opportunity to use carrot and stick policy on them to force them to pay for the development of Pakistan’s cost. Hub city is already directly connected to Karachi by highway. A railway is the only thing that’s left. The costs for a railway line connecting both wouldn’t exceed more than a billion.
Pakistani businessman and Pakistanis themselves can easily invest $5-$10 billion into developing Hub. Bahria town Karachi type project in Hub alone can make it one of the most developed cities in Balochistan. Tax incentives can be given to businesses moving there. The only thing the state would need to do is secure the area and create railway infrastructure. The rest would be private investments. Like this Pakistan can eventually develop all its costs until Gwadar in about a decade.

Baluchistan is no easy and soft place to begin with. It's a symbol of the application of the hard & crude force. Not to mention, the Pak War College resides here. It was originally established by the British Raj. It's enough to show Baluchistan's critical role and crucial position in the geo-strategies of the ME, CA, and IOR....

With force Baluchistan has come to existence, and with force* you have to keep it. You need to be as ruthless and as merciless as Kemal Pasha to suppress the treacherous rebellion and terrorism, funded by the Imperialists and her minions, over there.. .

*Blasting nukes, for the testing purpose of course, is also a part of it. Today is it's 28th anniversary.

The only way I've seen separate sentiment die in all parts of the world is economic benefits. If the economy of Baluchistan is improved any rebels will lose power.

ive stopped criticising Israel

They get things done no matter the cost while the muslim world is largely a failure excluding perhaps turkey

We just complain and lose

The only person who was able to enable this was Musharraf because he directly bypassed all the political elites opposing it.

Rumours are Asim Munir wants to do the same in 28th amendment

Not true, Try convincing a Canadian child or teen to blow a school bus full of kids, you may say Canada is a prosper country but we don't see that many suicide attacks on civilians from dirt poor countries like Congo, Ghana, haiti and other countries.

Baluch kids have no future because their parents support BLA who blow up schools and bridges and kill Punjabi labor barring any and every investment. They want their kids to have a good future, maybe start with not supporting BLA, hiding them or sheltering them or cry wolf when they join BLA but parents cry that govt pick them up.
