It's not me who said it.

I guess the number is pretty much accurate.

Of course people will say it's not true, because USA has Windows, Nvidia, OpenAI, etc.

But China also has those things too.

Anyway, USA is declining country, while China is on the rise, the gap is getting bigger and bigger.

Sure buddy

USA GDP 30 Trillion $
CHINA GDP 21 Trillion $
You need to catch up

Well, the expert said it.

But of course the argument is not in the economy number, but in the development, both in infrastructure and other things.

Have spent time in both countries. China is in indeed far more advanced than the US. Unfortunately US is on a decline in many ways.

I guess these things are hard to be seen and understood by common people.

It required knowledge and deep understanding on how things work.

It's like predicting a stock price.

People can argue some stock is cheap while the price is already high, and vice versa.

It's not the price what people see, but something behind the price.

US GDP is sort of inflated. Higher its inflations, its GDP increases also greater. US can just print money as it pleases, that helps too. US is never going to let other country takes up number one spot in GDP, lol.

How did you reach the 20yrs figure?

Qualitative life improvements or quantitative infra comparison?

Both nations have differing geopolitical, population and climate realities.

American continent is well shielded both physically and geopolitically. (string of allies either by force or diplomacy)

They also have a lot of natural resources and have nations in tow which would give them those natural resources. South America + Japan + South Korea + ME.

Counting the petro dollar system and dollar being the world's reserve currency it is still a long way to go.

China is on the rising momentum.

Even in the AI, USA uses a lot of researchers from China.

That alone is already explaining a lot and the meaning is deep.

So when the decline and decay results in utter desolation in USA right after the third Tuesday in October, I will tell the last people to turn out the lights when they leave.

I hope that would be acceptable to you, kind Sir? :D

Systematically, USA is in decline.

The last stronghold is the USD as the global reserve currency.

By understanding this, you will understand the behavior of the USA in global stage.

But we all know the USD died a few years ago on PDF like 50 times over already. :D

Yes, it did.

Just check USA billionaire wealth, stock market, real estate value, inflation, gold and silver prices.

Trillions dollar companies, it's not their value is increasing because they are offering more, but the USD value is falling dramatically.

These trillions dollar companies are wealth protector for the elites, while the common people below are still being paid with minimum wage in USD.

The billionaires are getting wealthier, but the people below are not, that is the sign.

If you are being paid and saved your money in gold and silver, you won't experience the hardship of other people on the street, because you are not getting poorer and you don't complain about good price in supermarket at all, car price, house price, etc.

@Beijingwalker , can you start a thread on Chinese towns ? Because we usually see the big cities on media but how does the Chinese towns looks like these days. That would be a nice addition to this forum and our k owledge. Other Chinese members can also help in that thread.
