Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I am all for striking US assets but blowing up Kuwait airport may be an own goal for Iran., They have global sympathy. They could have killed many innocents. Granted it is a dual use military/civilian airport
The U.S. uses Kuwaiti territory to fire missiles at Iranian civilians

The U.S. has an air base at that airport and uses it to launch air strikes against Iranian civilians

I get that, but probably could have been more accurate here? My point is simply that Iran is winning the war of narratives, the US bombed a school full of Iranian children.

Why set that back with the optics of a wrecked civilian airport? Ali Al Salem base is still standing, why not just obliterate that instead?

Unfortunately, Iran does not hold the upper hand in the propaganda war. Western media reports day after day that Iran is invading its neighboring countries. They claim that Iran is the one violating the ceasefire and that the U.S. military is merely retaliating. It is pointless to worry about public opinion, which is completely controlled by the United States. Thoroughly striking Kuwait and the UAE is essential for ensuring Iran’s security.

I disagree, big difference between western media reporting and actual public opinion, you can see that in the polling

Impacts on military bases are censored

Lol come on dude. Kuwait is allowing the US to fire directly at Iranian soil but Iran can't retaliate at the source?

Iran is not Syria or Iraq.

Where did I say Iran cannot retaliate. Many Kuwaitis cheered when Iran hit US forces in Kuwait. Hitting the civilian terminal seems unhelpful for Iran.

So the US can injure and kill Iranian civilians and target civilian infrastructure from Kuwait, yet Iran can’t respond in the same way?

Attached to be base there is an Air base that you can see

Also the attack has been made at night, so I am pretty sure Irán doesn't seek to kill civilians, just hit military hardware and also pay back Kuwait Kingdom that all attacks will meet response.

I am putting the damage on the civilian airport down as "collateral damage", i.e. Iran did not target the civilian airport directly, but as a result of localized jamming and defensive activity and proximity to military installations, some ordnance was forced into civilian areas by the local defenders or were the product of the inaccuracy of Iranian systems.

But Iran already hit US bases in Kuwait so many times. I doubt US would be keeping anything in those bases till now?

In other words, is there any US military assets left in Kuwait yet?

As long as tensions are high, US would keep its assets away from nearby countries. Fighter jets taking off from Kuwaiti airbase or airport is a massive risk for the US. They can take off from Israel or Jordan and with mid air refueling can easily do their operations with much less risk.

The argument that Iran is hitting Kuwait because its being used to target Iran was valid during the first phase of war. Why would US use Kuwait now? It do not make any sense.

One strategy of Iran could be that hitting Kuwait, Bahrain are easier targets and that may not escalate things rapidly.
