It takes a lot to destroy a base. I believe US bases in the Mideast were damaged but still operational. It's also about punishing countries that host US bases and turning America's military presence into a liability.

Iran cannot win by playing the game the US wants to play.

Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain are very vulnerable to future Iranian attacks. I don't even consider them as 'nations'. But my guess is that they are unable to ask the Americans to leave. But also consider any major American presence in those countries: They too would be very vulnerable to Iranian attacks and the Iranians would know a war is coming again if there be movements of American naval assets to the region and the American bases in those countries evacuated. In short, the American bases would be a liability to the Americans themselves!

American systems aren't overrated. This excuse only degrades Iran's technology by claiming the opposition are overrated. The Iranians took all the right lessons from all the US wars from 1991 to 2026, and rightly developed effective counter-measures.

SN: I used to read some Pakistani members here and on Reddit who used to criticize Iran's policy of support to other groups across the Middle East. They used to dishonestly compare the Takfiris b0mbing, beheading, and other atrocities against your average Pakistanis with the Zainubiyon fighters that came back to Pakistan after their tours in Syria (which they were mostly used to guard religious shrines). I wonder who financially backed these arguments where you can't even count on single hand if any of the Shia fighters blowing up marketplaces or committing suicide bombing against their own Muslim populations unlike the Takfiris (creation of UAE, Qatar, Saudis, Is3e1) to destroy millennium of Islamic history that the Iranian allies and forces had preserved.

What if the Iraqi PMU's just walk into kuwait n take it..............Its a piece of cake. The entire GCC is just so defenseless its not even funny.

My hunch is that if these guys in the GCC keep allowing the US and Israel repeated access to attack Iran, then invasion is the next step on the escalation ladder.

It'll be a disaster if it reaches that level of escalation.
