Pigs are going to have nightmare. Death ratio per month of israili pigs inside lebanon is significantly higher against the last two times they visited lebanon.

The hangars were likely empty at the time of the impacts.

Even if it is true, we have an old proverb "The pitcher goes to the river so often that it breaks." So if it is not yesterday, tomorrow or the day after something really big will be hit strongly... I don´t know what is playing POTUS playing so wild...

Not sure if people are aware, but lightening can strike twice. That is some hardluck for any aviator. Lucky that he survived both shoot-downs.

Pilot of fighter jet downed over Iran previously shot down in Kuwaiti incident

Fighter pilot downed over Iran was previously shot down in Kuwaiti incident, sources say 01:23

The pilot of the F-15E fighter jet downed over Iran was also flying one of the jets shot down at the start of the war by Kuwaiti friendly fire, two people familiar with the incidents tell CBS News.

Just over 30 days after safely ejecting during the friendly fire incident, the pilot was on a mission over Iran when the jet was hit by a surface-to-air missile, prompting a daring rescue operation.

The pilot's dual shootdowns were first reported by national security reporter Sean Naylor in his Substack The High Side.

In the opening days of the war, the pilot was among six aircrew members who safely ejected after three F-15E Strike Eagles were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses — specifically, a Kuwaiti fighter jet — over Kuwait in a friendly fire incident. Remarkably, just weeks later, the pilot was again forced to eject when the F-15E they were flying was shot down by an Iranian missile on April 3.

CBS News previously reported that the pilot, who sustained serious injuries, was rescued after several hours, and the second crew member was rescued after nearly two days in hiding.

"The courage demonstrated by both the pilot and the weapons system officer while isolated and them evading the enemy cannot be overstated," Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine said during an April briefing at the White House after the two had been rescued.

"Their grit and warfighting tenacity is a direct result of the absolute trust they have in our rescue forces, their training and their will to survive and return," Caine said.

The Pentagon referred questions to U.S. Central Command, which declined to comment.

"It is a highly unusual coincidence," said Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula, who is the Dean of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies and was the principal attack planner for the air campaign for Operation Desert Storm, during the 1990-1991 Gulf War.

Deptula told CBS News in a phone interview that he couldn't think of a pilot being shot down in separate incidents during the same campaign since potentially as far back as the Vietnam War.

"It's like getting hit by lightning twice," Deptula said.

That pilots flying career is most probably over now, with two shoot downs!

I will be honest. If I would be the US, I would not keep MQ drones or any other expensive / important asset so close to Iran.

I'd keep those at Jordan.
Drones cant preform In flight refueling. They need to be closer for the range and loitering time on station.

This was the most violent attack carried out by Iran during the ceasefire period, and the escalation is expected to continue. Iran has been kept on a slow boil for weeks, having its defenses tactically targeted while the blockade on its oil continues to prevent large-scale sales.

Patriot interceptor malfunctions and commits seppuku

More destruction, more contracts for Western companies.

Speaking of 'cake', the older ones remember Iraq 2003 was supposed to be a 'cake walk' or was that some mention of 'yellow cake' ? ;)
You know now that I'm looking back, it was sold to the other retard monkey - Bush and his cronies the same lie, but nested within the war of 2003 was the policy to really fragment Iraq if it couldn't become a staunch US ally. It was deliberate breakup and the tools used were same as now, divide people based off their sects, religion, ethnicity etc.

I remembered buying the book "Shia Revival" by Vali Nasr thinking it was some sort insightful about the rise of Shia power. It was accurate in some aspects. It was a very deliberate divide and rule in the Islamic Middle East.

I recently watched an interview of Vali Nasr and was disgusted at the language he was using to describe the demonic entity, Iran. I come to find out the dude is another orientalist to push more divisions in the Middle East. By Comparison, Trita Parsi is leagues more impartial.

That's their whole agenda, to divide populations and make them fight one another while you can cheat, steal, and extract as much resources as possible. It was never Islam or Muslims that were backwards, it was them investing trillions of dollars to keep the region in artificial turmoil.

Honestly take lasting injuries to these folks over death I’m assuming the injury ratio is far higher than previous bouts with Hezbollah

It kind of reminds of me this old movie I brought up on this thread awhile ago WarGames how do you win a war…..don’t be the dumbass who starts a war or or allow yourself to be the pawn in a war take yourself out of the war say hey we are sorry and have everyone go back to their respective places

Very significant development which could possibly give Trump an excuse to withdraw from this war and blame the Congress for tying his hands. But the Israel Firster Mark Levin says neither the War Powers Act or any debacle in the Mid Term 2026 elections could stop Trump as the Commander in Chief to keep waging the war on Iran.

The House on Wednesday was set to vote on a measure directing President Trump to withdraw U.S. forces from Iran or win approval from Congress to continue the war.

The resolution had been on track to pass in May when Republican leaders abruptly pulled it from the floor to avoid an embarrassing defeat for both the party and the president.

Adoption of the resolution would be a remarkable rebuke to Mr. Trump and his handling of the war, after he has repeatedly dismissed any effort by Congress to curb his power and the G.O.P. has largely ceded its prerogatives to do so, deferring to him time and again. Republicans put off the vote two weeks ago, recognizing that they did not have sufficient votes to defeat the measure.

But it was not clear whether they had made any headway in the days since, in winning converts, as the conflict has dragged on and Mr. Trump has made little progress toward ending it. And G.O.P. leaders are unable to delay the vote any longer because Democrats have invoked the War Powers Resolution, which requires consideration of such measures within a limited period of time.

Three House Republicans sided with Democrats in support of a similar resolution that just barely failed on a tie vote last month, in a sign of growing opposition to the military campaign now in its fourth month.

The vote comes as divisions between Republicans in Congress and the president have surfaced on a range of issues as their interests diverge in the run-up to the midterm congressional elections. Senate Republicans have in recent days forced Mr. Trump to abandon his request for $1 billion in security funding for his ballroom project and a plan that the Justice Department announced to create a federal fund to pay claimants who accuse the government of having victimized them.

Even if the resolution were to pass and be approved by the Senate, the ability of lawmakers to force a president to withdraw troops remains a contested legal question, and Mr. Trump and his senior aides have dismissed any effort by Congress to limit his war powers as unconstitutional.

While Trump is busy doing degenerate gambling and golf with prostitutes, Mojtaba is busy planning missile strikes and drone shootdowns all over the region

That's why I said "likely". Because I don't know for sure.
