Iran has defended well but Belgium are really bad.
They miss their best attacker (Doku) due to injury. Lukaku, I read somewhere, has played less than 90 minutes this entire season. So he is rusty as hell. Old and past his best as well.
Same with De Bruyne who has been injured for most of the reason and he is now 35 years old. Past his best as well.
Other than that, if you look past Courtois in goal, Belgium have a really average team.
Is it me or does the stadium seem to cheer on Iran? Hardly any Belgian supporters.

The refereeing was awful and extremely obviously against Iran.
I'm worried about the refereeing more than I am worried about Belgium at this point.

Considering the circumstances under which Team Iran has to train and play, I feel the Belgians are at a disadvantage.

Dude, seriously, stop being annoying. Just because your team destroyed the reputation of Asia once more, it doesn't mean that Belgium is far weaker than Spain or it's an average team. Stop trying to say that the Iranian team is playing against a weak team.
Belgium would crush Saudi Arabia just like Spain did. Stop comparing your team to Iran. And no, Taremi is not an Iranian Arab.

As usual our players have no composure, and even Ghoddos has been awful, and we look tired already, subs desperately needed
We are defending much better, though. Kanaani and Shoja have been good. Hardani totally dominated on the right though.

Agree. Belgium I m is an old team. Iran might be able to exploit that.

I think we played well. Belgium plays very physically.
The referee robbed us of at least two attacks on the Belgian goal.

Haha, I guess he isn't taking their demolition job to Spain very well.
We are missing our best CB (Hosseini) and most technical attacking player (Gholizadeh) and facing the most unfair conditions in World Cup history. We were even the last team to receive the match ball to practice with it. The fact we are drawing to Belgium at half time is in itself a miracle.

We are missing Sardar Azmoun as well. Not to mention that our team entered LA barely 16 hours before the match. They went straight to their hotel and couldn't even rest before the match. And they will have to leave LA after the match.

Played well by what metric? We defended well, but have not played well. 19% possession with 2 shots. Let's be honest.
Luckily, KDB and Lukaku are older and past their prime, but I am very worried about Belgium exploiting gaps in our defence as our ancient players increasingly get tired.

Yes, and most our players play in the Persian Gulf Pro League, which has been suspended since March, so they have no match fitness. They were already technically poor and all these other factors don't help, lol.

Ball possession is a useless metric. It's outdated. How many chances did Belgium have on our goal? None.
How many chances did Iran have? Kanaani almost scored a goal and Taremi was barely offside.
