Even the April ceasefire was against the Israeli wishes and this is hugely against Israel. No questions about that.
As to the Epstein Files, maybe they are a factor. Maybe not. However, if they are then they are the last card for the Israelis to play to influence Trump and, given Trump's ability to get away with murder, he may call the leaked pics and videos as 'Deep Fake' and punish Israel very badly for trying to sabotage him personally.

That is what Iran was offering before the war

So Vance is basically saying that Any Iranian asset to be unfrozen would be conditional and would only be used to buy food items from american companies / vendors.

So I think for Iran, the major thing is not unfreezing of frozen assets and accounts but major thing would be the sanctions to be lifted completely. So they can export their oil and gas freely to whole world in open global market. That would make billions anyways and they can use that money in anyway they want.

After the previous deal was signed 10 years back was Iran not planning a very big Airbus/Boeing order?

My guess is Americans would not object if all the order goes to Boeing on the condition they release more frozen funds the what has been agreed. I am certain stuff like this is coming up in the technical level talks

America is far away that by the time their products reach the consumers the cost almost doubles due to long transit.

Global food distribution is a funny thing my friend, US farmers mass produce at scale and can undercut many countries own domestic farmers.

I was talking to a workmate over from NZ, basically shocked price of NZ Lamb in London was cheaper then it was on Auckland!

Yes I was expecting that. It's a common tactic of the American govt and makes the transaction politically saleable as well. Reminds me of the 1990's when Pakistan paid for F16 planes which were subsequently blocked by sanctions. After some years Pakistan received soybeans and other agricultural products worth the same as what it had paid for the F16s.

It is still a better path for Iran than having the funds frozen , or worse awarded to someone else, provided the US govt actually delivers. Iran getting the actual cash back in its hands is a very remote possibility.

Doesn't matter where these dollar accounts are held, USA can freeze them at any moment.

Iran shall demand gold bar.
By the way, Russia paid 1/4 million dollars worth of gold for each Iranian kamikaze drone.
