Kausikan's father, P. S. Raman, was a late British Raj-born Indian immigrant who moved to Singapore after the Partition of India. After serving as a Singapore diplomat, the wealthy P. S. Raman married Lim Eng Neo, a Peranakan, with whom he had three children.

His name says it all. Of course Pakistan has been mismanaged. There is absolutely bo doubt about that.

Their hatred of Pakistan will remain till nuclear fallout hit them. If tomorrow Indians take over Singapore then that will also become legitimate target for Pakistan in all out war.

There is one that Al Jazeera kept wheeling out during the Iran-US war. You could see how much pain he was in when forced to utter the word "Pakistan".

This will never happen.

Singaporeans can't even accept a non-Chinese prime minister. It will be a complete disaster and we are currently much better off under a Prime Minister who is of Chinese descendent.
