Suggestion regarding RV Campers

Options son, options. If you are going to consider a nomadic lifestyle, what better way to learn than right here.
I mean i am just looking to cut some cost of hotels, i don't think this nomadic life is for me, unless i meet a hippie chick and she convince me to do that lol.

I work at a small truck stop in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma, I hear things....

For $20 bucks...

You wouldn't know you been in Oklahoma. 😜

I think you and @AZ_HighCountry have the most interesting American experiences of all the Americans in this forum.

And perhaps I have the most interesting 3+ decades of a Desi life in America, which has straddles the two different cultures with a late Gen X life split about even between the two. Heck, I even used to hang out at the ultimate Redneck bar called 'Bob's Place' way in the hills of South Carolina and that place was featured in Time Magazine's 2000 (?) as G. W. Bush country during the elections! There was even a 'Roadside Kill Grill' for BBQ there!

I miss my days of adventurism!! Crazy, stupid, uninformed, expensive, and risky but I did those!

Which is also why we have our own thread. To relive those glory days that some here will likely never have.

You will be ok. Just keep us updated during your trip, we're bound to give you bad advice.

Yes, I need to post there. I am not a great photographer but I took a lot of pics from early teens in Pakistan and still do now. Back in the 70s, my camera was a Diana one: Black and white and of course the good old film ones.

Anyway, I had mentioned I took a long trip in an old beat up car in the 90s (late April 1994?). Here is a pic which shows the car, parked probably in a KOA Camp Ground in Colorado or nearby. Also see the car making through the Loveland Pass at nearly 12,000 feet. Yup, the good old Pontiac T-1000 did the job for the most part!

Wrong attitude.

Once took a nap in the Smoky Mountains. Woke up and saw a rare red wolf been watching me 20 feet away.

Smiled, and said hello. Wolf was gone.

Yup, that's it! The famous Bob's Place! There was a very old Southern lady running that. I used to stop by that joint on way to the higher hills of North Carolina. Oh, boy, the memories!!!

One thing I learn in US that you don't mess with dangerous animals, or hillbillies. Recently a girl was mauled to death by a alligator in Orlando, and 2 more people were attacked. Not taking any chance with bears or wolves or chupacabra's.

LOL. I have been from coast to coast and border to border, and never needed either one. Just use common sense and you will have great experiences just about everywhere, without them. USA is far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than PDF or media would have someone believe.

Going on such a trip is life-changing. I encouraged both my sons to do such trips solo as well. You MUST do this!

It ain't that safe here: You need a gun for the raccoons! This mom just brought 4 babies to my door; the babies are 6th generation born and raised here and remarkably learning from their moms, generations after generations. They are highly disruptive to our backyard, highly intelligent, and this year I have been seriously thinking about either finally using my .22 rifle on the mom or poisoning them. But I just can't because I am a softie.

Too bad there wasn't a "coon-ass" from Louisiana nearby. You all would be enjoying alligator stakes that evening.

"Coon-ass" is a redneck in Louisiana. Get with me if you want to travel the Dirty South.
