Do we know the hours and cycles on this lost airframe? Or its maintenance history?
There are plenty of B737-200 and -300s still in service in Arctic Canada, Latin America and Indonesia, as well as elsewhere.
Had a lot of operators:
I was making an observation. That shouldn't matter. The duty cycles and maintenance, as well as training of the crew, are far more important IMO.

This is a discussion forum... We are not the ATSB or the FAA for that matter, we are having a discussion. What is not relevant is me talking about the samosa I am about to have with my Tea right now, me talking about the concerned aircraft's operator history does go with the flow of the argument.Of course, an observation that is not relevant to the safety of the flight - in my opinion only, of course.

Apparently, Pakistan CAA have sealed K2 Airway's Office at Jinnah Terminal on the 3rd Floor.
They're gonna be going through all of their records.
On a side note..., I haven't heard a peep out of Boeing, NTSB or even UAE's GCAA where the flight originated from - after a F#*KING MAINTAINANCE.
Most likely not; not based on the rate of descent and likely angle of impact at the time of the crash.Did they find any survivors?
