Yes strategically, its a bloody mess. From an analytical point of view, it only makes sense to divide a large problem into smaller, manageable ones and solve them piece meal. That would mean, may be, to have truce with some of your foes to buy time and focus on only one enemy at a time.

But I reckon the dilemma higher ups are facing here is rather like this:

1. All of these problems are intertwined.
2. TTA used us in a very cunning way and now they are jumping on our balls.
3. There seem to be no clear way to put a lid on one issue say TTP, and focus of another e.g. BLA.
4. I guess a lack of money in the coffers is making any possible buyin of these marauders impossible.

State has already decided to take Talis, and lately the BLA, head on and take the fight to them.

In my opinion, its already too late. The only way forward now is to double down on the kinetic aspect and increase the pressure on BLA and TTA/TTP.

The military targets our flyboys engaged should have been destroyed right after the Americans had left. Similar to the way IAF bombed Assad's military hardware as soon he left the country.


We cannot afford to loose the momentum.
