‘Massive’ demonstration to call for deal with Hamas in Jerusalem​


Peace Now says it, along with several other organisations, movements, and citizens, will join “the massive demonstration tonight in Jerusalem”, calling for a deal with Hamas to bring back the Israeli captives.

“For our hostages, for new elections, for the end of this war, for a political solution. For our future,” the Israeli rights group said.
The protest is planned to take place outside the Knesset in Jerusalem.

I lived in the US for a number of decades and had many Jewish friends, both Zionists and moderates, including IDF soldiers. I have known people who worked in humanitarian and other Jewish organizations in the US.

Aside from my personal experience, there is ample material online from academics, ex-CIA officials, and others in US politics. Israel's control on US politics is near absolute. Many US Presidents, including Bill Clinton, have publicly complained about it.

On their first meeting, Netanyahu lectured Clinton, then literally turned his back and walked out on him, leaving Bill Clinton muttering 'who is the effing superpower here?'

American Zionists are often more fanatical than Israelis, even IDF soldiers.

You are welcome to deny it all. It won't change the facts.
