KSA was about to normalize with Israel. Even though their position states they want a two state solution, that would have never happened and never accepted by Israel. If Israel can conveniently disregard Oslo accord and hundreds of UN conventions, there is nothing stopping them from breaking Saudi terms.

Saudi Arabia was willing to normalise relations with Israel in exchange for a US defence pact and civilian nuclear programme. Eventually the Palestine cause would have been sidelined and forgotten.

The official stand of Saudi Arabia to the US and Israel is that there is no normalization before the recognition by Israel of a two state solution...

I have no problem with Hamas doing what it feels it is justified in doing, or with your views. You have a right to hold them. Just know that everything Hamas and Israel both have done to each other will invite an reaction and retaliation followed by retaliation and so on until one side or the other cannot retaliate anymore. To me, they can argue all they want as to who is right and who is wrong and you can be proud of whatever side you choose. No problem.

Just protect the children and the innocent population caught in the middle. Immediately.

So we going to ignore the root cause of the issues we are seeing today is because of the occupation? The continued land steal and illegal settlements being built? The Palestinian homes demolished? The killing of Palestinians with impunity? The restricting of movement and hinderance of the economy?

All of this is the result of the occupation and oppression. Once Israel wants peace it will need to stop this. It doesn’t want peace but all of Palestine.
