Indians are mad because this agreement gives Pakistan a plausible way to achieve parity with India in many ways, on a per capita basis and in some items an absolute basis.

Afghans are mad because Pakistan has found a way to deal with Afghanistan. They were hoping some anarchy would befall Pakistan, but it seems Pakistan has found a way to create the right kind of support to contain the Afghanistan dilemma.

Egypt has been supporting the Sudanese military via air strikes on RSF convoys. Settling that conflict, and securing the western coast of the Red Sea will go a long way to interdicting smuggling of arms in the region.
