As alleged, its a defence pact so if Saudi Arabia is invaded or attacked, then they will be defended, its beneficial if Egypt joins aswell, they can argue against if the pact will be used against Yemen or Iran but if it is actually just a defence pact then why not, Egypt will have access to advance military technology, can produce parts etc, plus guranteed assistance if ever under attack, Egypt can also bring Jordan and pacify UAE and bring them on board aswell. Pakistan and Turkey wouldn't mind Egypt and Iran joining it but at the moment Iran is impossible, the issues with Usa and Saudis need to be sorted out first.

Do you know we asked the saudis to form arab alliance including all gulf countries , Egypt , Jordan, lebanon etc .. what was the saudi answer? NO.

So why should we bother joining their alliance now? it's perfectly clear that this alliance will be used against who ever against Al-Saud and MBS.

That's people personal opinion, Pakistanis have great opinions about all Muslim nations, including Egypt and Iran. The reason they believe Egypt will join is because Turkey even stated this and initially Egypt was part of the talks, once the issues are sorted their is a good chance they will join. Pakistan also wants major Muslim nations to join, this will reduce alot of the problems facing Muslims and can have a unified stand on many international issues.

Right, I chuckled at that! First time I see 'Pakistan' described as 'Mughals' and that too by apparently a non-Pakistani. But if you think about it, Pakistan is all that is left of the once mighty Mughal Empire in the Subcontinent; even Bangladesh doesn't fit that attribute.

This is an Indian Muslim perspective--which is not the same as the Hindutva perspective. Basically, saying that the three countries may have sold this to Trump as against Iran but the three countries in the new alliance have their eyes on Israel. Also saying India's options against Pakistan would be more limited due to this alliance and that this alliance will push India into an even closer embrace of Israel.

I do wonder what the technical limitations/issues are that need to be resolved before Egypt can join? Is the peace deal with Israel the reason? Are there limitations in that framework that stop Egypt participating in this new Makkah Treaty? Is Egypt looking at clarifications ?

Turkey also has peace deal with Israel but they joined. Its most likely to do with other issues such as the war in Libya, Yemen and elsewhere, you cannot have a pact with nations who oppose different sides in conflicts but soon these issues will be sorted and agreements on unity government can be made in these nations, Egyptian interests can be protected.

True, but Muslim nations are more stronger now, plus western world is less powerful. Pakistan aim has always been to unite Muslim nations, including Iran so internal fighting is stopped and we can all rise.

Honestly - let those AH-1Z's rust out man - the WZ-10 will do a much better job for Pakistan as the main platform. No need to introduce small number of units to increase logistical and infrastructure costs etc. AH-1Z are of no real value now that the PA has focussed on the WZ-10's.

They are paid for and can help Pakistan meet its commitments in Saudi without Pakistan having to deploy Z-10ME to Saudi. It’s not an absolute necessity, the Z-10 can fill the role as well.

The point of a defence treaty pact, is that it is a defence treaty pact. If Egypt were to, for some reason attack Saudi(as an example), then I would expect both Pakistan and Türkiye to attack Egypt in return to defend Saudi. You can't have one for all, and all for one treaty and then say there are exclusions of certain countries. If defending Pakistan, or Türkiye or Saudi from an Iranian attack is objectionable to Egypt, then you are right - Egypt has no place in this treaty.
