MMS was an intellectual and a buresucratic style. Modi is more directly a leader and a connector. Both have thrir strength.

It depends on how you like a leader to be.
For example, Modi, Trump, Imran Khan, Putin, and Netanyahu are leaders who, by nature, want to have control. They cannot easily be controlled remotely by others.

They can take bold decisions, and such leaders can often be good for their own country, but they may not be good for relations with other countries. They also tend to be more nationalistic.

Because of this, other countries—especially their enemies—may not like them. Propaganda can then influence people into believing that such a leader is bad even for his own country.

Best example is Trump here, he is troubling others, but want to do best for the USA... However, many countries do not like the way he is dealing with others for oil etc..

yeah, MODI was able to gather a lot of embarrassing and humiliating saga's for india, first in 2019 and then 2025. Now he got some cockroach party shitting on him and his govt. Still unable to control areas like Manipur, and others.
